    How about you make it so double tapping your jump key activates your FJ key? Should be pretty easy.
    Or is that considered botting...

    If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

    Normally I don't like to apply such maxims indiscriminately, but I find it is actually valid in this situation.

    If it was indeed such a prevalent issue (i.e. broken), many Night Lords themselves would have already come forth protesting about the issue, and it would generally be unanimous that it should then be fixed. Since this is not the case, it can be logically inferred that this is not really such a gripping issue that warrants attention. It has certain merit though, but definitely not of priority.

    If it were to be implemented, the toggle on/off thing would be required to make this solution work (and you are probably already aware it would take a lot of work to do so, which does not bode well for your case I'm afraid). The costs of implementation would probably override the benefit it confers.

    If I could get an approval of that, I will go with that. Luckily I got Razer gear that allows me to make such a macro.

    Isn't this what is being suggested? Or am I missing something?

    lol you don't need shitty 'g4m3r g34r' to do macro bindings and filter keyboard/mouse input. AHK is way more powerful, and probably easier to use, and there are other equally valid options.

    That is what I'm suggesting, but I think he's implying that I should personally create a macro so that jump + jump would be flash jump. So if I have my jump on spacebar and my FJ on e.g. alt I would macro it so that I press spacebar twice it would active my space + alt =/= jump + flashjump

    Based on the posts in this thread, I don't think it's just me ;)

    I should have been more clear. The ''consesus'' you're referring to only applies to this thread. The people who have agreed with me only told me it's a nice suggestion. They simply didn't bother to comment since they don't play a Night Lord. Therefore I believe you can't judge without a poll that I should have added beforehand.

    On the other hand.

    If we could add this with a turn on/off command everyone would be happy. If I get allowance of making a macro to do so, I'm fine with it as well.

    The only macro you are permitted to make is the ones in the client. Any external macro that interacts with the client is bannable. With that said, I don't think this is a feature from a future version that needs to be added on our server. The demand doesn't call for the time it would take nor is the nostalgia factor there in my opinion.

    Keybinding differently takes away the nostalgia? Not the ulu city, temple of time and the new nx items.

    For many people ToT is nostalgic as it came out in the v70s (can't remember which version exactly) and NX doesn't affect gameplay at all. Ulu is there because of the concensus that we needed more high level material, since v62 is greatly lacking in this area.

    Other than convenience I see no reason to add this. It wasn't in this version, doesn't give more playable content, it would take an unnecessary amount of developer time to implement, and is simply not needed.

    As for simplifying gameplay, does it really need to be easier?

    @John
    This doesn't change anything lol. It's pressing spacebar twice instead of spacebar + alt in my case. How does this take away the nostalgia lol.

    @Rob
    Also, this isn't about being easier, it's about being more comfortable.
    Especially because I play most of my time with a joystick instead of a keyboard.

    That's understandable, but most of my points still stand. This suggestion is mostly about making it more convinient. Specifically, more convinient for you. I really don't see how it's needed or why it's worth dev time at the moment.

    That's something I can agree with. If this really does take a lot of time to implement, then sure don't bother. But if it's something that could be done in less than an hour... Why not right? I mean if you could just turn it on/off it's good for everyone.

    How would you toggle the feature?

    Isn't it faster using two different buttons instead of tapping one?

    Uhhhhhh. I very highly doubt this is even remotely possible without editing the client.

    Why would the client send a packet every time you press the spacebar? That would mean someone could flood the server with jump packets hahaha. I'm sure it only sends on a successful jump.
