Witch’s deep purple belt added to Halloween event. 1 per year just like the pilgrim hat on thanksgiving
Umm... Nobody mentioned Easter yet, but maybe that has never been a thing in Royals? Honestly though, I think I enjoy the gap between events and I'm not so prone to come up with my dream event at this moment.
There was Easter in 2016 from what I remember. Last year didn't have it cause Kevin was busy with the whole new source thing. Maybe this year there will be one?
It really depends whether how much we have on our plates, especially the developers. But I think there will be Easter this year (keyword: I think, so it may/may not happen), since most of the code for events (i.e. anniversary, Halloween, etc) are supposedly in already from last year, so there's lesser thing to prepare in that aspect. It's still too early to tell, imo.
Would love to see something like this again :3https://royals.ms/forum/threads/supreme-mage-challange-event.613/ Guess it would be hard to manage with the amount of people nowdays
I wouldn't mind the Tomatina event from EMS. If I remember correctly the attack pots were pretty decent. And it was fun having giant tomatoes spawn in cities and attack the henne hoes
Some kind of collect xxx number of xxx and turn in, with a quest chain ending in either a custom stat MapleRoyals belt/ring. Honestly any collection for eqp reward event makes me grind and be on more.
When you mentioned the collection I came up with an (somewhat unrelated) idea. Have an NPC give you a riddle. The riddle will give you a clue about which Etc item to collect (out of a bunch, if not all Etc items) Collect say 100 of the item and turn in. The NPC will give you a reward if you figured out the correct item (like Orbis or Showa Exchange Quest) but if you came with the wrong item, NPC will not accept your items and you will simply have to think again. Make the NPC change his mind on what items it wants every Xth hour or once Y amount of items has been turned in.
Sounds good but my only concern is the amount of riddles the staff has to come up as an event lasts around one month.
Haha yeah! But honestly, I think I like this. Back in GMS I almost never participated in the events because I was celebrating them IRL instead. Then, when things got back to normal, everyday life and I wanted to play Maple again, those events had ended or would do so soon. In Royals I can celebrate them twice and don't have to choose!
