Game won't start

holaaa
so i've recently installed mapleroyals thru the google drive version and everytime i try to start it i get this box:

anyone know how to fix this? im jus tryna play

EDIT: i tried allowing it thru the windows firewall and the same message popped up. now i rlly dk what the problem is. im jus tryna playyyy

 

If you're on Windows 10 or newer: You should go to Windows Defender, and make an exception for a program. Find the MapleRoyals Client and add it to the exceptions list. Additionally, you'll need to allow the ENTIRE folder as an exclusion from the live threat detection / real-time protection section of Windows Defender. I hope this helps. If it doesn't try downloading MapleRoyals with the other link.

 

how can i do that? i already made the exception w windows defender for mapleroyals

 

Disabling Cloud Protection with Windows Defender:
1. After opening Windows Defender, click on the shield, "Virus & threat protection".
2. Click on "Virus & threat protection setting".
3. Turn "Cloud-delivered protection" to the Off position.

Additional information:
Inside of the same window you just used (Virus & threat protection), scroll down to "Add or remove exclusions" and click on the blue text.
Then, click on "Add an exclusion" > Select "Folder" from the drop down menu > Locate the folder for MapleRoyals and select it with a single click > Click on "Select Folder" in the bottom right of the new window.

Okay, now you can do what I had to do. Now that you have all the exclusions added to your Windows Defender and Windows Firewall, delete the game from your system. Reinstall it, with firewall still turned off with the exceptions still there. Reinstall it to the exact same location as before (so that the newly-installed game aligns with the exceptions you have made).

 

I have this issue when i need to reïnstall and like once every month. On windows defender i go to quarantine and see the list, i allow the file and it fixes it

 

After i had to reïnstall cuz of update, that's what i meant

 

took forever, but it worked.

Can you give me more details about the problem you are having?
1. Did the game fully install?
2. If the game is installed, is MapleRoyals.exe in the folder?
3. If MapleRoyals.exe is in the folder, what happens when you open it?
