Hi guys! I've recently come out with a program to help compare new weapons or equips for warriors, and I think some people on here would enjoy it How it works: Put down your TOTAL Str, Dex and Att Select your weapon types and speeds Press Calculate! K is your weapon STR multiplier hpm is your hits per minute The program does NOT compare spear against a PA accurately yet, I'll fix that soon And if SI doesnt work here yet, then just ignore it Download Link http://www.mediafire.com/download/hdh4oz5hpqvuidt/MaplestoryWarrior.exe Preview:
Thanks for the program! I'm just confused about one thing though. It's telling me that I have 494k DPS with a 6334 attack range. I can ignore the value there and just look at which side is higher, but where does that number come from? :O
Great tool! And gives really quick info and is a quick and easy tool to use. Just a few questions, is the DPS calculated using the power strike skill? Would also be nice to have Slow (8) and Slower (9) speeds added here for those wannabe warriors. ie: beginners
It's calculated using Brandish/Blast/Fury/Crusher attacks per minute, so it's not accurate for beginner's basic attacks Whoops, that's what I get for programming at 2 AM >.< It's actually DPM (I'll fix it soon). But it's not a real value, just one to compare It's calculated using the hits per minute of Brandish/Blast/Fury/Crusher, but does not account for Skill Damage, which is why I cant compare PAs and Spears yet EDIT: DPM changed to DPS
Pretty cool. I've been looking into this myself recently, but this is more attractive than my big spreadsheet. I feel like people might use this for cross-class comparison, rather than just "which build is best for my hero". If that's the case, adding in skill damage (both active and passive) so the DPM is comparable would be a great addition.
That would be interesting and fun. Hell, give me one drugged up night and we could see what happens. BUUUUUT I'd need to do a lot of testing for the exact math behind each skill, which I cant do right now. But it would also be the v83 skill table, that's just where I come from.
