IGN: Mooshy Problem: Not getting 3.2x exp from all monsters. Details: I'm an Islander. The only monsters that are giving me 3.2x exp are: Orange Mushrooms, Pigs, and Slimes. Everything else, gives me 1x. Meso rate rate/drop rate seem to be fine.
Nope, once you hit either level 10 or 11, they start giving the 3.2x exp. It works on my other Islanders perfectly fine, which is odd.
This shouldn't happen in maple island. The rate should be 1x for all mobs @Evan kindly pass it on to higher admin as it seems we found a bug today!
Should always be 1x at maple island for mobs regardless of the lvl. That’s why islanders are a thing. Because they grind with 1x rate. If they leave the island, their conditions of islanders changes and becomes a beginner with 3.2x rate
Plain wrong... Have you ever even played an islander? The only thing i'm not sure of is the lvl it it changes to 3.2x exp.
Regardless of where you are, or what class. Either at level 10 or 11, you will start to get the 3.2x exp. But yeah, after asking other Islanders, they've told me that the exp rate was normal for them. So yeah, I think it's just my character
I think i've found the problem. When I'm not in a party, I get the full 3.2x exp. But while in a party, I get 1x. Is this a glitch? Or was this intended?
Bump. I want to leech some fellow islanders before 5th Anniversary. But without the 3.2x for all mobs, it's pretty slow

Sorry to disappoint you with another non-staff reply here. I just wanted to share my thoughts: Maybe the EXP multiplier happens on the monster rather than to the player. So when you are in a party containing a Lv.10 or lower player, the monster's EXP rate will be set to 1x and therefore you too get 1x, even if you're above Lv.10 (or whatever the magic number is)
I thought this was the case also. But as you see here, I'm the basically the only one in the party, and i'm still getting 1x.

Sorry really appreciate the reply. I just never really thought maple island leech existed! Hope you guys get the 3.2x exp you need. Doesn't seem fair to have 1x when the rest of the server is getting 3.2x
Lmao i learned something new. Shouldn't it be how its supposed to be to avoid lower level characters getting leeched at 3.2x from level 1-10?
