Leeching Guide Help

Level 100. I stopped because the lag was just starting to be overwhelming last night. I used to three hit the mobs prior to leveling my bishop a few times through leeching an alt.

is there a safe spot at petris? i feel like im doing 3 hit at petris and it feels slower than skeles....

Yes, the ropes and the 3rd platform near the portal are all safe. Skeles are faster than Petris if you 3 Shot Petris, but the gap closes a bit once you're able to 2 Shot Petris although I still think Skeles edges them out a bit.

 

Did anyone time Petris vs Skeles?

 

Would anyone be willing to make a video or show me the best way to navigate skeles?

I'll do some testing once I can get my Arch Mage and Bishop to One Shot range.

Map is sort of straight forward, but it depends if you want to see how One Shot or Two Shot will move around.

Does SI speed up casting?

 

Yes. Gen is way faster.

 

Just tested Berserkies from a Level 84. The rate is about 2.4 Levels an hour which is more or less the same as Wolf Spiders if you can move around the map of Berserkies and Wolf Spiders well and cast Genesis at the optimum opportunities.

With that being said, it might be better to leech at Berserkies because of the better Mesos/Hour, but probably not worth the trouble to navigate the map. Stick to Wolf Spiders from 75-85.

 

Also. Gobies at Level 80 are around 3.5-3.7 levels an hour. Only reason I'm not going to include this is because it's not AFK for the leecher. This rate can only be achieved if the leecher follows you at the prime locations of Goby Houses.

 

GS 6 > GS 2 Tested it myself. Also, much easier to get a spot.

 

Wow! Thank god leeching at Ghost Ship 2 is only optimal for only 58-63. Shame that regular training there is horrid. I've given up at those early levels because I thought nothing could compete with GS2 spawn.

I'll have to do some testing of my own if I can manage to find a willing leecher.

 

Yeah, anchors aren't great to train on because their hp:exp is horrible. Leeching, on the other hand, they're great for. I also like that they have a rope directly in the middle of the map.

pre-30, I just kpqed with my bishop. If you can get everyone to leave in the bonus map, it's pretty good there. Questing is the fastest if you know which to do (shumi's JQs, kill 99, strange dish) or acquired the needed etc drops on your main before-hand.

 

Thing is, the leecher won't get even close to 20% of the XP. It might be faster to leech, but not by much and definitely not worth the hassle of dual clients.

 

About wraiths, it's important you take the bottom map line 2 in Kerning City. The Spawn in line 2 Is a lot better in comparison to line 1..

Anyway, I just checked what's best for level 100-105

I went to Wyveryns/Squids/Ulu 2/Ulu 3 (2 shot everything)

Even if you two shot squids is still best level 100-105, I got 3% more per 10 minutes @ squids on my hermit than at Ulu 2. Ulu 2 is still slightly better than Ulu 3.

So In order of being best would be

1. Squids
2. Ulu 2
3. Ulu 3
4. Wyverns

Again, this is for level 100-105... So I would highly recommend going to squids from the moment that you can. The rest is optional.

 

Interesting. My Bishop can One Shot both Squids and Ulu Estate 2 so I'll give these two places another round of testing on my 98 Ice Lightning Mage.

The main reason why I prefer Ulu Estate 2 over Squids is the drops. The Red Craven via Veetrons alone is reason enough to leech at Ulu Estate 2. While Squids do drop GFA 60s, you can get Overall Luk 60s and One Hand 10s to make up for it.

On the other hand, navigating the Squid map can be tricky, but I think it beats climbing the vine to get the drops on the top platform.
