About Onyx Apple in Bonus stage APQ

I would like to make a suggestion: Can you make Onyx Apples drop from boxes in bonus stage can only be pick-able by the one has the most hits to the box??
I don't know if anyone could ever come to this thought before but here I'm proposing this.
I was at a situation where other people looted my apple with pet loot but he didn't know, when I tell him to give me back my apple, he refused and called me "a fucking bastard". I don't even bother to ss and report him because it was only 1 apple, I just blacklist him.
Now I come on a solution to prevent this happen again. I don't know if this at anything on restriction of the client program but I believe this one is programmable.
I don't know if this suggestion does any harm or people can use this to abuse. What do you guy think?

Update 2: I suggest Onyx Apple can only be dropped vertically, apple is dropped at where the box lies. So that we can loot our own apple, we don't have to ask for other people to help us loot our apple. Thanks @MoriForest for pointing this out

 

Hi it's me, the one who called you a fucking bastard, after you repeatedly accused me of looting your apple even though I didn't because I always take good notice of my own pet and you went on with your passive aggressiveness throughout the entire next round of APQ ("maybe I should record my PQ")and even after I dropped 3 apples in front of you, you didn't dare to pick it up because you weren't confident that my pet looted it!

But nice suggestion, though! 10/10 would support this idea to prevent people accusing me of being an apple stealer!

 

Um yea, I wanna record all my PQ run in the future so I have evidence to stop people like you. I couldn't believe someone like you can do that. I won't accuse random people if they won't do anything. I didn't take 3 of your apples because you only looted 1 of mine. If I take that 3 apples, it would be like I'm a child that want to revenge you after you did that to me. I won't do that kind of behavior.
Also, I don't even bother to ss your "fucking bastard" and report it because it was only 1 apple and I can bypass that. Saying something that bad toward any person under any situation is considered as rude word and I could report it.

But this discussion goes further away from the purpose of this thread. Can we just forget about the incident of me and you and talk about this suggestion? Thanks for your support tho

 

Bad suggestion because what if the person doesn’t notice his/her box dropped an apple and you happen to loot it.. I don’t wanna give it back.

 

LOOOL, you can't loot it because the wait time to loot it could be exactly the limit time of the bonus stage or longer.
If anyone didn't notice his apple is dropped, imma tell him if I have done with me. We all live poor, why need to be that greed with just an apple??

 

Sometimes my BM couldn't jump back to the top platforms where apple drops, after accidentally falling down while trying to jump onto it, and I would ask a NL or a mage who could teleport back up to loot it for me, and your suggestion would prevent that.

 

Maybe we ask them, apple can be dropped at the position of exactly at the box where we hit?? so that we can loot our own apple

Actually a very sound idea. If apple would drop vertically only, then it will remain at the box's position. This also most likely prevent people from accidentally looting your apple, unless they walk past your spot.

+1 apple drops vertically.

 

I'm agaisnt both suggestions

-If the apples can be looted by the ones who hit boxes the most, we'll see more people ''milking'' boxes instead of opening (some people already do, I've seen them hitting multiple boxes specially mages at the very botton of the bonus stage since they can tele down) ALSO (i usually help others ho doesnt have a pet on their mules to loot their apples also being able to save them the last second)

-If the apples(and everything) drop vertically and it drops last while you are little laggy you'll lose several seconds before you can actually loot it. If ONLY apples do it still can be blocked by drops form nearby boxes

I don't see any problem the way things are. BUT I'd love you could jump down during the bonus stage

 

It would be nice if there was some way to guarantee an Apple per person, per run, but that would make Apples too common and lower their value.
What if the Apple drops were handled like Zakum or Horntail drops? Obviously it wouldn't be something that could be enforced, but it could be suggested at the beginning of the PQ.
The down-jump in bonus might not be changed, or it might be that way for a good reason (that I don't know of), but I'll see what info can be gathered on that.

Usually, if I know that person in my party, I'm gonna kick them right after the run is finished. Another suggestion I would think to solve the issue you mention is: Usually, when we hit box, we tend to hit it constantly til it breaks. So how about: if box is hit but then after an x second, if it is not being hit, it will lose it owner? This could stop the "milking" you mention for some degree.
About mules doesn't have pet, tell them to buy a pet? Its cheap btw.

I do all the apple loot by hand. I see no matter of it. I have another suggestion: mostly all the other loot (earring, chair, cape, scroll, ...) are useless. So what if thing is: box that drops Apple will only drop apple, box that isn't drop apple will drop the other loot. All drops in vertical including apples. This will prevent apple is blocked by useless drops. What do you think?

I really appreciate all the opinions of you guy. This thread is just to help us - APQer - will actually get the apple if it drop as expected, despite it drop rate is really bad.

 

Apples are always the first or second thing to come out of a box, how are you missing them

 

I don't run APQ/Drama party quest for reasons listed above. I rather just farm and buy the apple to avoid the hassle and potential drama. If I do run, I almost always run with people I know and trust.

 

The struggle when the apple drops through the wall when you open the boxes on the side...

 

Ok, if I can catch it agian but I believe it should be the boxes on the side (the isolated boxes by the side). Let me double check and can actually confirm this.

 

it happened to me on the top left box (the isolated one) and i almost lost it, luckily for me some NL came for my rescue
