    so what does your statement have to do with my statement on the topic, I was on topic, You just blew it out of proportion with your *oh so your saying this?* only by reading what I just said completely out of context and reading something in-between the lines that was never there in the first place.
    My post was not pertaining to freedom of speech and opinion, but was insisting on explaining*how ever harsh* why nerfing MoN was unreasonable.
    because people spent time getting an HTP, having MoN nerfed just saves the people who run Horntail services selling pendants that's it.
    I call it how I see it, I don't beat around the bush and sugar coat. If anything that's what this is, asking for something to be nerfed because you spent time obtaining something is immature plain and simple, this is not enciting flame or calling anyone out but its a fact, and everyone knows it.
    and honestly halts progression towards anything. this is just my opinion on the matter.
    So a hard no on nerfing Mark of Naricain, thank you.

    This is the very first post I made when I made this thread.

    I am very confused now. I mentioned I am with the majority based on the poll NOT wanting a nerf on the MoN. I do not want a nerf on MoN. Period.

    Why are you making it sound like I want a nerf on MoN?

    Yes, change to an extent is a good thing. I've voted yes but not because I am trying to be competitive. It is because i feel that it would be absurd if the MoN would replace the HTP as being the best pendant in the game, or even just for the attacker classes only (mages benefit most from stats I think). I hope to see a situation where both pendants are feasible options for all classes instead of completely choosing one over the other.

    Also, don't forget that MapleRoyals claims to be a nostalgic server, though nostalgic can be subjective, the least the server can do is to try to preserve the general characteristics of a nostalgic server. By that I meant that the Zak helm and HTP should be items that the players would wear. Therefore, I would also be against the idea of having scar/tar helmets as mentioned by earlier posts, even if they are nerfed as I still feel that they would not fit in the identity of the server.

    This is actually not a bad idea, it would provide some boost to players and solve the debate of nerfing MoNs.

    I actually asked about this recently, but it's not possible to have 2 pendant slots.

    (It's probably a server-sided/client limitation because of the version we're on)

    What if you could combine stats of htp with MoN if 2 pendant slots aren't an option? If MoN does come with 5 att but godly roll, maybe make it so that if combined the godly effect isnt transfered alongside it?

    Or make it so that unegged htps can only be combined with MoN?

    Maybe play around with this idea for an optimal balance between the two when combined?

    Idk if any of this is even possible, just curious

    The goal is to keep HTP above MoN (because of difficulty/level req/etc to get one), but to still allow people who want to grind CWKPQ to eventually obtain a godly MoN. I believe the math works out that a 5/6 attack MoN starts to rival a perfect egged HTP, and 7/8 attack start to get into the realm of a godly HTP that's been chaosed, but not surpassing it.

    Another question. Is MoN an unique item where you can only have one on you like zhelm and htp, or is it like Krex ring you can have as many as you want on you?

    Just a thought.

    It was tradeable and you can put them in fm shop when it was first released in GMS. Then later on it was patched out to where is not tradeable, but you can have multiple MoN in your inventory in GMS.

    I'm curious on what it will be for MapleRoyals.

    I think it should be tradeable, you could put godly necklaces in FM for like 2b or more. This will give you another way to get money aside from HT and leech

    I dont think that's a good idea because a lot of people will just buy from FM than do the pq. The pq itself the requirement to run is the toughest out of all bosses because you need 10 characters two from each job. If you can just buy from fm shop people will lose incentive to run it.

    Same end, someone gets a MoN. Personally, I'd like them to be tradable and able to be sold in the FM.
