Hello I'm Jason, few may know but I have been slaving away farming at Leafre: Burning Forest which is considered the best map to farm Dark Cornians which is the best mob to get concertos from. To farm these concertos I have been dual clienting and using 2 Arch mages (one on the top and one on the bottom because the map is wide vertically.) For increased farming speed and less walking around time with 1 mage. In the past week and a half, I have spent well over 15-20+ hours using this method of 2 arch mage 1 hitting the cornians only to have found 8 concertos in total. I would end up with full inventories of equips to have 1 or not even have a single concerto to show for it. I don't mind that they are garbage concertos because then I could use them to craft dragon revolvers, but not finding any is just frustrating. Relative to how I can farm @ at ulu/petri/skele and end up with 5-10+ kingcents/rc/ or nisrocks with a full inventory is a bit unfair for people that are playing corsair and want to make their own gun, because well the market for guns isn't relatively that big. TLDR: I believe that concertos have a lower drop rate then all the other equips Dark Cornians drop and I believe this should be addressed possibly, or maybe my RNG is just ass. Who knows. I haven't tried that, I thought that Dark Cornians were a better farming mob then Nest Golems, do you have a recommendation on which map to farm for nest golems?
S>concertos By the way there is a better map for Dark Cornians, it's the map where you fall down from Dragon Forest 1 where people farm the Cornian Dagger for HT.
You only kill three Nest Golems in this spot but you don't have to move which is nice. Nest Golems require the same TMA to 1hit as Petrimonsters. (Jr. Newties don't drop it, only Nest Golems)
I'm curious when you farm at that exact map, on average with a full inv, how many concertos to you find yourself having? I've been farming nest golems to end up with 1 on average, hah, is my rng just ass?
