I'm glad you didn't press "merge" for cash effects. I lost like 6 of them when I merged the inventory -_-

 

I've merged them before. It doesn't show the number of effect on the icon but I managed to drop them one by one from the stack.

Yes that is just a visual glitch,if you drop and repick it,it will pad your inventory with separate slot.
