As it is now, it's ok. It'll take time to used to but that's normal. It'd look a bit better if everything was overall less "white" and empty looking. And I think the color scheme needs to be changed too. Light blue/bold blue on plain white is not easy or nice on the eyes.
There definitely are some quirks here and there that I still have to get used to but the intention of this thread was to allow people to get some steam off their chest. With the initial release of the forums there were a few people that started to come into the chat box (obviously not mentioning who) saying how stupid it looked and those who thought it was time for change defended it. Which in turn, resulted in people jabbing at one another. To avoid further altercations, I think its smarter to leave leave a thread open (a lot of people thought this was done prematurely) that people can go to and express why they feel a certain way and have their idea potentially added onto the forums. This way, those initial "quirks" or things they believed should be added in, will be. Also, I'm sure that reading through some of the pros might help people adjust: seeing all the benefits that can be reaped from an updated forum. So again, please post your feedback, it's definitely appreciated by someone.
Could the borders seperating parts of the forum be more bolded? Maybe different parts having a slightly different progressive shade?
Well, this morning when I woke up, I thought I had the wrong forums so I actually retyped the http. Howweverrrr, after lots of complaining ( <3 love you guys ) Im starting to get used to it and slowly but steadily finding out the new functions it provides, stuff like the trophies ( Im a real sucker for those things ), the easier page scanner ( I just made that up ), and the modern touch it has in general. Although I wouldn't mind the old forum forever, Give me a day or two and I'll fully support this forum as it probably has more potential aswell. As for the final judgement, 10/10 would visit again.
Voted no. If we're keeping this, it would be nice if it's possible to see how many people are viewing a thread section/post and the layout background text color to change from any other than white. Some of the perks from the previous set up should be used on this one. I'm just zeggen.
It's bright and messy. It just doesn't look appealing in any kind of way. The old forum was nice and unique. We don't need this change :\
Updated the first page's "checklist". Also added in some of the benefits we received in the update, hopefully it persuades someone that the change really isn't all that bad.
Im not very familiar with the "new" site so its very easy saying a lot of negative stuff. My biggest issue is the white background i really don't like reading on a screen especially when the background is white, the old light blue was much more comfortable. There is no clear distinction between the lines very light blue on white it looks good but it's annoying to read and hard to tell what is what. Besides the colours i think this is a big improvement and with some getting to know everything, will be much more user friendly i already seen several things i like so big thumbs up for fixing this. Ohh and please change the colours or else i will probably not enjoy any of it.
The recent updates have made this version of the forum pretty nice. I'm indifferent as of now. But for mobile, this is way better.
I really like it, however I'm not a fan of the default font being Georgia. If we could change that, I'd be happy. Otherwise I think it's amazing. I really like the little offline and online tags under our avatars. The general graphic style is nice. Maybe add a darker version of the same style for our users which are a bit adverse to the lightness of this one. EDIT: Bring back our old smileys please The slimes were the cutest! These are cute too, so maybe incorporate them both!
