Just finding things out like CPQ is dead and RJPQ? Currently at Magatia and no one is here... is there other things I should be aware of? Things at MapleStory but not at MapleRoyals?

Whoops just realised this should be at help and advice! If admin sees please move this over if this is not okay thanks :)

They will be arriving soon after the CWK and ingame security updates. But also what you may want to know is that we will be having a HP update soon, which hopefully will motivate more people to participate in lower level content and not leech. Also, leeching is very very prevalent so when you find people who grind and level themselves party with them and don't look back!

Oh nice! I can't wait then for this, missed them so much :D and that really sounds awesome, I got no funds to leech here at the moment but totally good with grinding myself. Most people I met are encouraging me to sell resets to buy leech.. but really I couldn't really care, I like levelling myself. Thank you very much for the information :) Can i also ask is there really much else benefit to leech other than faster level and the need to do nothing? I've never leeched before and don't totally understand why people are willing to spend so much. Is grinding really that bad?

It's because atm leeching is better than grinding, and ofcourse, if you're into progression and leveling, why not level faster right? It's just that it's made this huge void of zombie pixel robots who buy leech and don't do any of the low level top quality totally viable content (although at this point they could do with a buff to put them on par with leeching and turn this into a social game again). Other than that, you shouldn't need to give a fark!

Leeching isn't better than training until level 75+ I think, and it only really gets good at 85+.

The reason why people leech a lot is cause they're doing full INT washing characters and cannot actually train, even if they tried.
In lower levels grinding/pq should be faster, just people are lazy.
My first character I grinded up mostly but I bought/was given leech a few times at 78/85. I wouldn't suggest buying leech until you're around those levels either, leech is optimal once you hit 85+ leech zones and I only leeched so I could get training at Himes ASAP.

Try to save your mesos, what you think is good when you start will quickly be replaced. You should mainly focus on saving your mesos to purchasing your first Zakum Helmet ASAP and future more lasting equips.

Most people dont add points into the second stat until late game cause we have Maple weapons and many weapons we don't need our second stat for. So if you're playing like a Mage for example, don't add LUK; Bowman, don't add Strength (you won't need it till much later). The extra early stats going into your main stat really helps out the damage, especially since you're unfunded.

Oh I see, Yeah finding it a bit tough on training at the moment because no PQ I guess. So I can understand. The level 78-85 mark I'm running around for a good training spot haha and I find Himes to be a bit too strong/not worth for me.. Though a friend of mine reckons I should train there? Is this right? :o Where should a Priest train around this mark? I was training at GS6 for a long while but thought it time to upgrade :)

Hmm I was just purchasing some basic gear in FM and I know for sure they won't last~ But I've made sure they were resell-able so I think I'm okay! Oh I've done Zakum a long time before but don't remember much about it.. I do understand the helmet is very essential though. May I ask how do I go about purchasing one? I have to go on the Zakum run and stay back? and what is the difference between VIP and REG ( I keep seeing this in the chat)? :o

Good point! I made the mistake of adding some Luk way back but I think its alright for now? I stopped as soon as I realised.. hm though as a first character I am not too bothered.. I will either fix this in the future or remake another priest if this is not okay :3

I'm sorry for asking many questions here ^_^' and thanks for your help!

Himes are a bit strong, you need to duo them with an attacker. Try to find one around your level range, not one thats like 10-15 levels higher.

VIP Zak Runs you have privilege to loot all the helms if you want, its for finding good stat ones. Reg is just one helmet.

If its not too much its whatever.

Sin, gunslinger, archers, and spearman "require" HP washing for late game bossing.
If you don't have the resources and you really want to fight those bosses, you should pick another class.
Spearman only requires a little bit of washing, so its still viable.
