Quest Specialist Guide - Hidden and Missable Quests

Mac the Mechanic's Maintenance Manual can now be completed.

 

do medal quests not count towards quest specialist?

 

I'm pretty sure they do not.

 

(I dont have screenshot for this, but I tried it and it works for me)

Now with the recent update that gourd works in korean folk town, dropping (losing) the seed from the swallow will grant you another quest to get the seed again.

 

Confirmed.
To trigger:

• Drop the Magic Seed (if you have already started Opening Nolbu's/Hongbu's Gourd, the seed will be called Nolbu's Seed/Hongbu's Seed)
  
• Forfeit Opening Nolbu's/Hongbu's Gourd quest if started
  
• Talk to Swallow

 

So the TLR of this seems to be drop every important item.

 

does anyone know if the dark tachion quest (https://bbb.hidden-street.net/quest/el-nath-mt-aquaroad/destroying-the-power-of-evil) is fixed?
last i remember it was broken, I have a few dark tachions in my inv and I don't get the quest anyways

 

It worked fine last time I did it, even with more than one dark tachion in my inventory.

 

Oh, you don't get the quest in your quest log, as far as I know. Also, it takes all your tachions in your inv, duly noted.

 

Hm, well the quest only appears when you have a dark tachion in your inventory and it shows up in the Nath tab, not to Ludi one. I don't think dark tachions have any other use anyway haha.

 

So here's a question:

Does this work retrospectively?

As in, what if I completed every quest for the 1-29 level bracket (and therefore, couldn't start the 'quest'). Would those still count towards the medal?

 

Yes, it tracks all quest components you complete, regardless of whether the medal challenge was active.

 

Is this the same quest?

 

Nah, for that quest you collect Swallow's Lost seed.
When you finish that quest you get Magic Seed.
Then you drop it and get the new quest.

If I missed 19 quests can I still get the medal?

 

You should be able to. I missed every level restricted quest because I didn't quest until 17x. I was still able to get it. I was losing hope going for the medal cause I thought I wasn't going to be able to obtain it, but there's a hidden quest line in Magatia that gave like 10+ quests in 1, so don't lose hope You may have to do some of the longer, tedious quests, though, to make up for it.

 

Thanks man. For reference, 9 of the quests I missed are maple island ones and 10 are various others. I'm looking forward to the tedious ones lol

 

You should be perfectly fine I did the bare minimum 800 quests and still have over 25 I can still do.

 

Can someone else confirm if they were able to complete the Educating smart pets quest? I just bought the Robo and Dragon pet from Cash Shop, and the two quests did not trigger.
