Hey Guys.... As you all know, I was banned around March, around 3 months back. I know that I have stopped playing for a while, but I think that I need to say something before leaving Royals, and most importantly Radiance. For the past 2 years I've been in Radiance, it was the experience of a lifetime for me. Everyone is super friendly, supportive and sporting towards each other, especially the core Guild Members, even from pre-Radiance (Wisdom if I'm not mistaken). I joined Royals back in 2014. Played solo for a while, until I was recruited into my very first guild, Showbizz. As this is 2014, where the peak players is around 110, the guild didn't last long and went inactive shortly after. The second guild I've joined is Royals. This guild is quite active too, until the inevitable happens again, and I was forced to quit the guild too. Next came Inferno, a guild that is much like Radiance now. I joined for around 6 months and unfortunately, some internal problems between the guild members, the guild is in disarray (in my opinion). Core members leaving the guild, being the most notable members are Gary (Gazza) and Becci. This really take its toll on me as the main motivation of playing the server is the people . After Inferno, I was guildless for about 3 months, playing solo on my marksman, until I came across Balance. Balance for once is a very fun, active and cool guild, and always strive to get the number 1 rank in the guild score, by hosting a lot of GPQs and encouraging members to join. But eventually most of the members went their own separate ways and I left and joined Shade. Shade has given me something of a place that I can call family. Shade was pretty much active for about more than a year after I've joined. We've had several guild HT runs and events as well. I was also given the honor to become one of the Jr. Masters of Shade. Shade then changed to Pixel after the guild leader, Dego went inactive. I will never forget Jennifer (planes), kobato (chris), purrday (glen), dego and some others I couldn't recall (sorry ). After Shade, I came to know Radiance in the guild thread. I am not sure why but something tells me that Radiance is really different, and attractive at that time, despite many other guilds are recruiting. Reading the posts in the guild thread, I knew that Radiance is going to be a guild which I can call family again. Despite the guild being full during my application, miraculously it was accepted by @ayomichelle and @Goku . After joining, Radiance has been something that I can always retreat to after a stressful day of work. Getting to know the members, chatting and joking around in fm, doing silly things together and bossing, mostly Zakum and Krexel, those times were timeless for me. During Halloween event in 2016, @ayomichelle asks me out of random if I wanted to become a Jr. Master of the guild. I was overjoyed as the most fun guild I've been in, I am being promoted to a Jr. Master. Even though I was a Jr. Master until I was banned, I don't think I've done much for the guild . However, this makes me feel so appreciated to be part of the Radiance family. I also still remember that we have our very first guild HT run, where it consists most of the Jrs. and Hahasaki. It was a HT run that I am finally able to join again after quite sometime, due to my marksman (juranga) being a low HP and needed HB to survive. Many thanks to our dedicated pro DK, @iSaind . We would have a weekly guild Jr. HT run, if I'm not mistaken, Thursdays I believe. Even though the run always starts at around 11.00 PM my local time, the fun of bossing with Radiance guildies really does pays off. After New Source comes last year, it does take a full year (almost) for HT to be fixed again. That time I decided not to be reliant on others especially due to my low HP, thus I created another bowman, soulwind with a proper HP washing. It does take 1 year as well to at least reach 120. However, this character is also my downfall, as washing is very expensive, ad requires a high number of AP resets. About the ban, yes it was identified as a voting abuse. However, it was really a misunderstanding of the TOC, and I was also being an idiot by not asking, prior to committing it. I'll spare the details, as I've told @Sof what actually happens. But still, I am ultimately breaking the TOC and the ban is well deserved. Also, greed plays a major role too as I just simply can't afford to wait, or farm more in order to obtain more AP resets. I did told @Sof sometime around November last year, that I will be ultimately quitting this year. Only Sof knows this and the moment I told him about quitting, he was quite taken aback. I've only told Sof why I am planning to quit, but I guess it's fair for everyone to know why I am quitting this year. I am getting married, at the age of 29, most probably around the end of the year, and Royals is one thing I have considered one among many sacrifices I have to make. In a way, getting permanently banned did help me getting over my Royals life, and it did gave me chance to focus on my real life goal, building a family. I was devastated when I found out that I was banned. But, reflecting what I have planned before, all I can say is that god works in mysterious ways (depends on your beliefs). I do still have discord and guild forum to keep in touch with Radiance members, although I didn't expect it to be that sudden. Well, I guess that was it. My time on Royals may be short (or long, depends), but the last 2 years with Radiance have been a journey, an experience, that will always stay with me. Weird as we never see face to face, or meet in real life, but there seems to be a connection that is really comforting and bonding with each other. It is always fun when chatting with you, either be in fm, discord or guild forum thread. I also watched your videos on youtube, where you visited a lot of places with friends. That was awesome and I also would love to do that as well one day. Also, for keeping Radiance alive, despite its lowest active members last year after new source. I am in doubt and thought that Radiance might die, just like any other guilds I've joined. Stay happy and positive Michelle. @Goku one of the best Dragon Ball fan I've ever met. Most if not all your character's ign is based on Dragon Ball characters. You are a true Saiyan in my eyes Leo. We've had fun together, bossing and messing around in game. I am glad we've ever met. You've been too nice to me so many times in game, even giving me a Super Saiyan discount. I can never repay a Super Saiyan discount, well maybe in another life (lol). Stay active and keep playing. (On a side note, I did see you often online on nintendo switch, but we never had a same game to play ) @Sof you've been a good friend of me. We always went for duo zaks together during weekends, even though we never actually had any Gene20 drop. Again, congrats on reaching level 200 and on becoming a GM. I can't feel happier for you. Thanks for a lot of things, especially after becoming a GM, you've been very attentive to all my questions and queries. I'm glad that we get to know each other, and I get to keep a part of me with your NL. I will go to the states one day, New York, to follow my aunt. Although USA is big, I hope that we can meet in real life. Keep on with your studies and achieve your dreams. @violaceopes Rissa you're a very smart person. Whenever I talk to you, there's always something to talk about, be it any topic. Your funny and witty remarks in the discord is what keeping me entertained. Also, thanks for the time we've spent together, be it as a fellow Jr. Master or a friend. I do have to say that I really like your name though, Rissa @iSaind one of the most dedicated person I've ever come across in Royals. Keep building your saind army Vik. You will always have a mule to bring in every bossing to make the run easier. Thanks for giving my marksman HB along those HT runs, without isaind, I would never be able to join HT. Also, you've remain active during the early days of new source, where your BelieveInRoyals keep Radiance alive. Congrats again on your level 200 Drk. @Tardex nothing much to say about you Jon, except that you're another pro DrK in the guild. Always remains professional and cool in all situations. It was the right decision to promote you as one of the Jrs. @Kitxy you've been one of my motivation and inspiration to achieve for my bowmaster. Thanks for all the tips and pointers you've given in game. Truly one of the few that plays a bowmaster expertly. It was fun having you in the guild, although you already quit (I think) @Zandros I haven't been able to spend much time with you in game. But know that you're and awesome person, respectable and very professional. Becoming a Jr. Master of the guild is a wise decision by michelle indeed. @itsmin @Mitmat you guys are the only one that willing to Krexel with my bowmaster once he reached 135. I am glad that we get to know each other in this short time frame. There's never a dull moment when we were together, be it Zakum or Krexel. Give me a holler if you guys are in Malaysia again. I do hope this gets to you guys, as you guys are also banned around the same time as I did. @Guus we did quite a number of bossing together, including one HT run. @nasrul_wave Nasrul, thanks for joining radiance and being a good friend! As a fellow Marksman , you reminded me of when I was a marksman in GMS. Marksman is not only a SE-Buff char. Its a sign of dedication towards a higher goal. A way to kill as much mobs as possible! A Sniper Pride. I may be known as a Drk on royals. However originally a great ammount of my Dedication comes from the suffer and Joy as a Marksman for a long time on GMS It was a Honor to see and to have such a great Marksman in the guild. Normaly I dont do this. However in Honor of you. Im putting some of the moments as a Marksman where I felt this was the best job in Maplestory.
