EDIT: You may hold 'Y', and repeatedly click 'SELL ITEM' to avoid accidentally clicking out, as I've done for the past 3 years. Thanks for the input everyone! The title says all, I wonder if it would be an idea the Admins would consider / have considered / will make possible, will make NPCing items faster for bishops / all other classes and back to training / doing whatever asap. Vote on it and let me know what you think! Above is a picture, where've indicated locations on where the button would be added.
I voted no. The reason behind it is because I have gone trough the pain of leprechaun farming. To any of those who have done it, they would know that lep farming is pure npc meso. I used to farm in 6 clients at the time earning 120m hr just from afk farming, but at a cancerous cost: clicking. So if this function of sell all is added, I can go back to my lep farming activities and abuse the hell out. Even though this will benefit me a lot, is easy to abuse it
People might miss to notice something valuable in their inventories and accidentally sell it. It's their problem I guess, but still... EDIT: In any case, it should cause a dialog to appear "Are you sure...?" which is not easy to click by accident.
I am quoting from the update 54.0 notes: Added ~buyback to the /help command list. NOTE: Please note that the buyback command is not available yet and will come with Update 55. This change has only been implemented to prevent unnecessary patch updates.
This suggestion is just asking for trouble really, we already have enough issues with people NPC'ing the wrong items by accident, and I feel this would make it worse. Yes we are bringing back ~buyback, however it will only allow you to retrieve up to a certain number of your past sold items, and it will also not save your items if you change channel or go into the cash shop. Therefore it should only be used in those emergency situations where you realise you have just NPC'd something you shouldn't have, and not for players to be able to wipe their inventory and buy back the items they wanted to keep anyway.
I feel like for the ones who have nothing valuable, and grind for endless hours, it'll speed up the process of obtaining mesos. It would be nice if we can multiselect like in modern GMS, or maybe they dont have it cause i dont play. Anyways, expanding the inventory so we can sell faster is a nice idea for me, but thanks for the reply Matt!
Same reason as Ayane. Strongly against this idea. And as Staff, we already have to deal with (in the sense we're adding back ~buyback in next update) players accidentally NPC-ing their items (while they have total control over it). Imaging adding this feature...it'd be a nightmare.
So this right here is my inventory for my bishop, which i do use to leech sometimes. Like half of it is my gear cos i carry my speed/jump gear too. definitely not a good idea to hv this sell all button.
If this were to be implemented, protecting eqs should be implemented too, protected eqs never get sold till you unprotect them
instead of over-complicating the inventory system with protected items, buybacks (which will be available!) and other add-ons to make a 'sell all' option available I'd prefer a player to spend the 10 seconds it takes to hold down 'y' and spam click at one spot in the sale window to sell their inventory back to back
LOL, i didn't know that we could do that! AHAHaha, thanks for your input fellas! I didn't think that this new system would over complicate , I intended it to simplify but ya'll are right!
