A mage do not need to HP wash for Horntail, because you have a wonderful skill call Magic Guard. However, do you need to keep a lookout for Horntail's Dispel skill, which can remove your magic guard and you need a minimum of 2k HP and 8k MP to survive a run. Which you can easily reach at 13x without doing any washes.
Yeah thats what I meant, but if horntail uses dispel and i get hit, then how would i survive with 2khp?
Yeah, you do not need to wash for Horntail. But if you have a couple B funding available and you are willing to spend it washing your Bishop, it can be very beneficial for your HT runs. I washed my Bishop to 4K HP + 30K MP. As a result, I never died as main Bishop in HT, even when I am not paying much attention and recast MG 10 seconds after dispel. I also use much less potion while grinding compared to normal Bishops. I am continuing to wash it and will reach 5.5 K HP + 30K MP at LV200. If you want to invest in washing, you can start MP washing your Bishop around LV150, by adding level-up AP to MP then use AP reset to -MP +INT. Your maxMP will dramatically increase, which also saves pots while grinding. After you get the extra MP, whenever you want to convert some of it to HP, you can use AP reset to -MP +HP. This will reduce 30MP and give you 10-20 HP at random. Of course, you can start MP washing earlier if you want. In this way, you will reach your HP goal earlier, and have the potential to reach more HP / MP eventually. However, the efficiency will be lower. The MP gain from MP washing is (constant + base_int / 10), so higher level Bishops get more from each MP wash.
You don't. That's why unwashed Bishops need to be very careful and immediately recast MG when Head dispels. What's worse, dispel doesn't have animation, only a sound effect that can be easily missed. So if you are unwashed and react a couple seconds later, GG.
30K MP isn't necessary for survival. It looks nice and saves potions while grinding, so I did it. If you don't care about it, there is no need to wash to 30K MP. So you can save some money there. I am not sure exactly how much Hp you need to survive HT without MG, but the higher HP you have, the better. I already feel a lot safer when I wash to 4K HP. I think I saw @Martin recommended washing Bishop to 5.5K HP if you want to be really safe.
Found the source for 5.5K HP recommendation: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/horntail-guide-for-seduce-target-and-bishops.123712/#post-705150
Once you turn 120 and gotten Genesis, there are 3 main ways to train. 1. Selling leeches You gotten your ultimate, you can immediately start selling leeches, why train for free when someone can pay you to train? Your target is to be able to 1 shot ulu 2 and skeles. 2. Grinding If you want to grind and level quickly, I will suggest duo grind at skeles with an attacker or an arch mage. Or even looking for a Temple of Time party. 3. Purchasing leech If you have the resources you can purchase leech at skeles or petris. But why? Edit: Change petris to skeles
It depends on your party, if they kill head A first (and kill darks properly) it's really easy but if they didn't do A and you get dispelled you could die instantly from head A's ice strike Head A hits about 5.3k damage or so and if the wing is alive too and it buffed him it can hit like 6.8k As for the MP it has no effect on your survival since you are dispelled anyway
Yeah, as I clarified later, washing to high MP is a personal preference and not needed for survival. And yeah, washing to 4K or even 5.5K HP just make it safer, but doesn't guarantee survival if you don't MG for extended time. If you want to be completely safe without MG after tail is down, you should wash to around 8K HP as Bishop.
Since I’m not very knowledgeable in bishops, Im guessing you can wash anytime as mages cause you have so much excess mp?
Yeah, at LV180+ I get 110+ MP per MP wash, or 550+ MP per level. The MP washing gains with 900+ base INT plus Improved maxHP Increase is insane. I started MP washing at LV165, which is rather late. By late 18X my maxMP is approaching 30K, so I had to convert some excess MP into HP before continue MP washing. By LV193 I have 4K HP plus 30K MP. Also, at any time I can convert lots of my MP into MP. For example, if I have 300 AP resets now, I can immediately convert 9000 of my MP to around 4500 HP, and stand at 8500 HP + 21K MP. But that's unnecessary, because 4K HP (5.5K+ potential at LV200) is safe enough for me to HT without stress. Also, I like 30K MP. It looks nice, and with 30K MP I farm slightly more power elixirs than I use at skeles, so I never need to buy pots for it.
I want to level up faster to increase my genesis up to 20. Instead of selling low lvl leeches with a weak genesis.
i die to skeles in like 4 hits. Im tryna survive more and have more mana to use genesis without repotting after using it twice
