Hi guys, every time i log into maple (full screen exe or regular) and after 2-3 mins or going into a portal, my desktop would suddenly become all black. than after 10 seconds game would freeze and a blue screen happens. WIN CRITICAL PROCESS HAS DIED or something similar.
I tried everything from disabling antivirus to reverting windows to previous update (1703 or 1709) or running current update (1803); i tried compatibility mode (win 7). I dont have a dedicated gpu only integrated (AMD radeon) and i have the latest drivers and everything installed.

    Anyone have any tips? :(

Download and run BlueScreenView and report back with what the STOP errors are coming from.

note: i only get a blue screen when running mapleroyals; other programs like word/excel/autoCAD are absolutely fine, so i dont think its my gpu or autoCAD would have given me a error too.

ntoskrnl.exe usually points to a memory fault, but it could also be software (drivers or operating system corruption).
Can you tell me the specs of your computer? If you don't know them, you can use a program called Speccy to show you.

I fixed my problem, so far atleast.
First, i re-installed maple royals to the correct folder : programs files (x86); before i installed maple royals into a different folder.
2nd, I permanently disabled windows defender (useless piece of junk) and windows updates (more useless and windows 10 still sucks).
3rd, restored my windows back to previous version (1703).
4th, used driver-booster and updated all my drivers.
5th, added mapleroyals.exe as exception to my anti-virus.

I think what's happening is based off of what you said; windows update keeps trying to update drivers which is not even compatible with my hardware which causes a software error. that's why i only got the blue screen when either going through a portal or using a skill because the graphics refreshes from map to map.
problem seems to be gone; for now.
Thank you for the help though!

Alright i haven't had any problems so far, i think my solution worked.

@Muff you can close this thread now, and if anyone else is having a similar problem refer them to this solution.

    Thanks!
