    This thread is for any players to report lag issues in a detailed manner. Reporting lag properly rather than simply shouting "Lagggg" in the chat box can help us greatly to resolve the lag issues.

    Adding a trace route to your report is beneficial and necessary for us to diagnose whether the lag is server sided or client sided. Trace routes are only beneficial if they are done during the time that there is lag. We understand that sometimes lag can be over too quick for somebody to run a trace route so do not worry if you were unable to do one, please still report the lag.

    We highly recommend using a small piece of software called MTR (Matt's Trace Route). Simply leave the MTR software running in the background for a while and then stop and then paste the results here. It does both pings traceroutes at the same time.

    Download: http://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/
    Instructions: Install and open the program, then type royals.ms into the host textbox and press start. Stop whenever you feel it has gained some results which include latency issues then copy and post the results here.

    Duration of lag: ~3 minutes or so
    Description of lag: One client d/ced completely, as above. One stayed logged in. All monsters stopped moving, messages took a while to go through. It let up for a few seconds then repeat.
    Trace route (Recommended): Started it right when I saw the lag start, stopped it right as it seemed to let up.

    Description of lag: Monsters stopped moving, chat didn't go through. One client d/ced (again), other one stayed online. Half of guild/buddylist d/ced as well.
    Able to move around freely, but monsters "miss" and can't use any skills- until d/c.

    Description of lag: Sudden spike in lag, multiple people in guild/buddy list d/ced. One client d/ced, the other seemed to not lag at all.

    Duration of lag: Couple minutes
    Description of lag: We wanted to CPQ. When we entered, 2 parties of 1 player entered, so we left by NPC. Then we went in twice without the leader talking to Spiegelmann, which got us sent to some weird exit room, alike the waiting room. This room we left twice by NPC as well. Then we proceeded to enter the waiting room a few times more, while both times 2 parties entered (we were kinda stalked by this one player...).
    After that the game got really laggy.

    Duration of lag: ~1-2 minutes+
    Description of lag: NPC stopped responding (was using gacha), chat wasn't going through on one client- other one unaffected. D/ced, client closed, upon re-opening I got the "We're unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block or other network issues" message. Currently still unable to log back in- even though one client is still online and unaffected.

    Date & Time of lag (Server Time): September 1st, 10:35am server time
    Duration of lag: 30 mins+
    Description of lag: Login server allows you into the login screen only a fraction of the time, and when reached to character selection, full dc occurs, giving the "login server unavailable" message. If one is lucky enough to make it in-game (some people were in-game before this started occurring and did not dc) they would play just fine unless cc'ing, when they would often dc (the cc-dc that many players experience often in-game even on normal days). At this time, cc-dc is almost a given.

    It doesn't really help much if you can't tell us the time (server time) that it happened.

    Duration of lag: About 40-60 seconds only
    Description of lag: Basically everyone d/c'd shortly after a lack of response from NPCs, inability to use skills, chat, etc. Couldn't reconnect for about half a minute; could get back in after that and it's fine now.
    Trace route (Recommended): It was instant and resolved almost instantly (only 40-60 seconds as I said) so I don't have a trace route. :(
