Fixed Can't job advance to Thief

Problem: I have 25 Dex, and reached level 10, but the Dark Lord won't let me advance.
Details: Tried CCing, leaving guild, leaving party, entering and leaving cash shop, closing and reopening the client, and a combination of what I said earlier, I'm still not able to advance.

Instead, this is what he tells me...

 

Do you have 25 dex with items? Or base 25 dex?

Do you have unused AP maybe? I don't know if that should be a problem, but maybe?

I don't think this matters. I'm 99% sure I've advanced before without applying all beginner SP

 

This is the first thing he says when you talk to him? What happens when you click next?

 

Used all my Beginner SP, but SirBearLag is right it shouldn't matter.

Not the first message, but the screenshot is what I get instead of advancing. There isn't much choice to the dialogue, if you say No to his question the whole thing just closes.

EDIT: If I click next the chat closes too.

 

Actually, there's a quest about talking to job instructors for the job you want (I believe by talking to Olaf in Lith Harbor), do you have this quest running? Or complete? Not started? Maybe the quest bugged this out somehow.

 

Looks like I completed it.

 

Maybe it's glitched? It does read "I have learned what it takes to become a true Thief through Dark Lord of Henesys"

 

Wow, I just noticed that.

I didn't do anything wrong though, I did choose path of a Thief. I also tried job advancing before finishing that quest and the same problem still occurs. So I think this has something to do with it.

Yes, the Dark Lord wanted to give me my much needed stars.

I have moved your thread to bug reports, there are currently two issues there, one with the text, and another with it not giving you 3 full sets of stars.

 

Hey Andreas I got a question as I'm not super familiar with thieves, but are they supposed to receive a Beginner's Dagger of some sort?

I only received the claw, and my equipment inventory wasn't full.
