I was wondering if it was possible to have AP/SP reset [Untradable] Version paid with donation money. Reason why - Some players do not have time to grind money for years to be able to afford HP Washing in order to have a lot more fun bossing. Untradable version would continue the game on the way it is. No pay 2 win would be gained from this. I am pretty sure this will also make the server way more profitable and im most players will agree with this change.
HP washing is not mandatory to enjoy end game content. It is a luxury. The server stresses: non-pay to win server. Paying real money to not pay mesos to buy bils worth of AP resets is pay to win. They already just made HP gaining slightly easier.
But the word untradable was in there meaning players wont be able to trade them. people want to pay real money to wash Go ahead. Or else farm money for 2years in order to afford it.
If you buy APRs with real money ; literally saves you bils that you would have to spend on ap resets to wash. It means you’re not selling them yes; but you’ll have around lets say you want to wash to 10k as a NL, 2-3b worth of mesos you wouldn’t have to use on AP Resets
yes but Washing is a choice. Like you said "HP washing is not mandatory to enjoy end game content. It is a luxury." Why not let players pay with money to Wash to have that luxury. Im sorry but i have a full time job and dont have time to grind 16hours a day for a year to be able to afford 8b+ of HP Washing. When i was 14 i wouldnt mind. But now i do and im sure a lot of players feel the same way
Totally I understand. I’m not saying washing isn’t hard and it definitely scares newer players from playing this server longer. There have been plenty of suggestions to make washing easier and some of them are good, but I don’t think straight money is a good idea for the server.
I think it would. Money could help out the game more. Running a server isnt cheap. the more income you have the better stuff you can add to the server. Yes Donating for some exclusive NX could be good. but Honestly we have a cashshop full of free choice (Voting) making Resets a donation method would make more players donate and generate a way bigger income for server. And Wont affect game play at all.
This is textbook pay2win, and I'm pretty confident that it's a big no-no without even asking the rest of staff (or more specifically, Matt) and I'd agree. Part of the nice thing about NX AP resets is that it's constantly moving around within the market. People always want em, so people can always sell them. The demand requires a steady supply coming in from voting/NX, means new players can sell them to make some money, and people with billions who want to wash have to buy from other players, and not just dump the money into a meso sink.
Technically this is pay2win because you have advantage over the hundreds of royalers with real money. Solution to your problem with current royals: 1. Save nx for couple of months to buy ap resets (in meantime you can play other classes for fun). 2. Play a cheaper washing classes like warrior. 3. You are mostly washing for HT so if you minimal wash, you can survive with a Drk.
