So I couldn't help but look at how to obtain them, a 31 quest long quest chain? really? Shouldn't there have been an npc put out somewhere to sell them considering how required they are by 3rd and 4th jobs.
Its always how it was in GMS, if you dont want to do the quest just buy them from people in the FM? The quest only takes an hour or two really, if you collect all the materials before hand. and it's fun to read the whole lore with it all too.
So was a few other convenience features added to the server like having to actually go to a FM town to get to the FM. So, how was this one of the things not added in?
Alternatively, you can hunt for ETC and trade them for rocks at Eurek the Alchemist, but... 5 Summoning Rocks produced from: Method 1: 20 Tauromacis's Horn, 20 Wild Cargo's Eye, 1 Steel Plate, and 4000 mesos Method 2: 20 Drake Skull, 20 Dark Yeti's Horn, 1 Adamantium Plate, and 4000 mesos Method 3: 15 Ghost Pirate's Key, 15 Buffy's Hat, 1 Orihalcon Plate, and 4000 mesos Method 4: 15 Lucida Tail, 15 Zombie's Lost Tooth, 1 Mithril Plate, and 4000 mesos Method 5: 7 Bain's Spiky Collar, 7 Cerebes Tooth, 1 Silver Plate, and 4000 mesos
Challenges like these are what makes the game fun. If it became too easy with so many conveniences it would start to feel like GMS.
Normally you can find people who've finished the quest selling them in the Free Market for exorbitant prices. Don't wanna do the long quest line? Be prepared to spend money.
Quest isn't too bad since the boat times are nonexistent. Just stock up on some teleport rocks and you should be able to finish the quest in less than 30 minutes. Then, you won't have to do it ever again for any account.
Because the FM button and other things that were added, like no boat times add something significant to the community of the server - being able to go chat or train with your friends at a moments notice and not have to spend an hour walking/waiting or blow a couple tele rocks is good for the server. Making something easier for the sake of it being easier doesn't add anything at all. If the 73 NLs on the thief top 100 have made it that far, and the (I'm quite sure hundreds) of hermits that have made it to 80+ haven't had a problem, I don't think this is that concerning of an issue.
