Hi. Opened a DK about a week ago and got to level 50. Going to buy a Zak helm soon and wondered how much acc should I have, more specifically, how much dex do I need? I already have 62 (with robe and earrings). Wanted to know how much would I need, so i can get the extra points for STR

Hello :) Good choice making a DK. Buying a Zakum Helm is a great idea - it's probably the best source of Accuracy you can find. If I were you, I'd not worry so much about DEX. What is your base DEX currently? Personally I have 4, and most people are fine with that. There are so many other sources of Accuracy so you don't need DEX for that reason.
In my signature you can find the link to an Accuracy Calculator for Android, where you can simply input your Level and Accuracy and find out if you can hit a certain monster or not.

EDIT: Another thing crossed my mind. You can bring a couple of scrolls for Helmet for Accuracy (30% or 70%) along on your first Zakum Run. Perhaps you can afford buying VIP, or pay for a re-loot if your helm blows up. I scrolled my first helm with accuracy, and it was very helpful in the early levels. Those scrolls are very cheap too.

My base DEX is 24. I added to it mostly because I saw that I almost didn't hit monsters when I was lower levels. But still my dmg is very inconsistent. It ranges from 900 to 3k. expect the zak helm, what else can give me acc?
Another question, is acc supposed to be constant at some level? Or am I suppose to have it go higher as my levels go higher?

24 DEX is not bad. Your damage is inconsistent not because of low DEX, but because of low mastery. I am assuming you have maxed Mastery skill already (if not - do it now) for either Spear, Polearm or both. In Lv.120 you'll get a skill called Beholder which furthers increases Mastery.

Other sources of Accuracy includes, but is not limited to the following:
    • Weapon - In your level, the best weapon you can use is Maple Scorpio or Maple Impaler. They give a huge boost of accuracy.
    • Earrings - Anniversary Earrings have 15 accuracy and 2 DEX clean
    • Face Accessory - Sad Mask gives on average 10 accuracy
    • Top-/Bottomwear or overall - In early levels, they don't give, but the endgame top- and bottom gives accuracy (I think Lv.90 and 70 top/bottom does this too....)
    • Shoes - Unless you have shoes with ATT, you can scroll shoes for Accuracy. The scroll is actually called "...for DEX" but it boost Avoidability, Accuracy and Speed. They are very cheap scrolls.
    • Gloves - Gloves can actually be scrolled for a great boost in accuracy since a 30% gives 5 accuracy and 3 DEX (8.2 total accuracy) but since most people often use Gloves with ATT, this will hurt your damage so it's not recommended. Scrolls are extremely cheap though, and it's definitely worth it if it makes you hit a strong monster you otherwise wouldn't hit (overall DPS is improved)

On day you'll also get Horntail Pendant which gives a big boost of accuracy, but at this point people usually don't need it much anymore. With 170 accuracy, you can hit almost everything. So your accuracy will remain constant. It should actually only increase as you obtain better gear.

First, thank you for the reply! That is a lot of information that I really needed.
About the mastery - I maxed it, but still not getting constant damage. How can I improve it even more?
About all the eqp - I have bought 2 maple weapons - for levels 43 and 64 that are scrolled which gives a decent amount of acc. Earnings and overall - I bought Dex ones. Do you think I should buy (or scroll myself) different ones? About shoes I have slime shoes - but didn't think about scrolling them. Which do you suggest? 60% or should I risk it and try my luck with 30%? For face accessory - I am currently working on getting the glasses from lpq and I was thinking about scrolling them. I got a normal wg with 10 att - nothing special.
Again, thanks a lot for the reply! Appreciate it!

Doesn't spear hit higher damage when you stab, and polearm do more than you swing? I think that's why you have such a large damage gap between minimum and maximum. Once you hit 3rd job, you'll get a skill which only stabs and one skill which only swings, so you'll have to choose which weapon you'd want (most ppl go for spear anyways).

It is exactly like @Cold Area said

No, unless you need more accuracy to hit the monster you want to train at.
Depends on their stats. STR and DEX you can on regular warrior shoes but the other stuff is quite unique to Squishy Shoes, so if you want to keep those stats, don't 30%. Otherwise, 30% is best. (you could use 30% or 10% on whatever shoe you find while grinding - maybe it turns out well)

    Improbable
helm - zhelm (scrolled with dex)
earring - dex scrolled single earring or scroll event earring (10dex = 8 accuracy)
until u hit endgame - a dex bathrobe (pretty cheap below 20dex)
    maple weapons - 35acc
if u can afford it, deputy star
a 10-11acc sad mask (face) costs about 25m or so
dks do not need any dex at all because all end game weapons require none
u want about 150accuracy by the end

It's better and cheaper to scroll for Accuracy. End game is chaos scroll for STR and mid game is DEX

A DEX Chainmail is a better idea, although a robe has higher resale value (and is also a lot more expensive to buy in the first place)

They don't have DEX, they have Accuracy

A 10-11 DEX face would cost billions. You potbelly mean 10~11 ACCURACY

That is not enough accuracy for HT or Oblivion.
