Moderate GPQ Stage 3 stuck

Doing GPQ, I was the leader and started off the puzzle by dropping 4 wines at the statues. Clicked NPC, 1 was correct so I go to loot them aaand I can't.
No message in corner while trying to loot, tried jump+loot and leaving the map. No one in my guild could loot them either. Tried dropping another offering on top but the NPC wouldn't allow it and I would only successfully loot the new drop, the wines were stuck. Tried dropping mesos on top, would only pick up mesos. ETC had plenty of space.

No idea what triggered it. Any ideas?

 

Only the one who dropped it can pick it up.
Did he/she try to loot?

 

Yes, I dropped them and I couldn't pick them up.

Did u try to enter any portal in the map?
That item might return back to your bag.

 

Did you even read my post.
Being the user who dropped the etc we tried:
Entering wine map and returning
Dropping second item on top
Dropping meso on top
Jumping while pressing loot
Tapping loot
Holding down loot key

We suspect it might be caused by dropping items before having all of them? Or maybe dropping items while the 'accept trade' menu is open or something.

 

There are only two ways: "to loot it" or "to leave the map".
If you have tried these, there isn't any other method to pick it up.
What confuses me is it never happens during my tens of runs.

 

Yeah, we have no idea how or why it's happening :< Hope you don't run into this problem!

 

So my guild and I have a theory on what was triggering this problem.
Basically if you drop any item onto that map, you are the only one who can pick it up UNLESS you open up a trade window during this time.

If you open up a trade window (like other guildies giving you the remainder of the items) after you've dropped items, you won't be able to pick it up. So just gather all the items first before you start dropping on statues.
