Hello, I'm going to my girlfriend house and I made me wonder about what could be mistakenly taken as account-sharing.
Since it's considered a major infraction I want to avoid it at any cost, so here are my two questions.

    1. For what I've read... GMs would have the ability to distinguish when an account is logged in a brief period of time from two far apart places as a suspicious action (Maybe?), So If I go to someone house that doesn't play mapleroyals at all, Is it gonna be safe to INSTANTLY log in from a different location? i.e. I use team viewer to close maple from my desktop pc (FM Selling) and then login from my laptom from a very different IP?

    2. If the above is not safe, Is it allowed to leave one of my accounts logged from my desktop PC (FM Store for example) and then login a different account from a different location? thus having two of my accounst logged into the game from completely different places?

    Thanks in advance,

You can log in to your own account at a different location regardless of whether the person plays maple royals of not.

So long as you’re not logging in to the other person’s account for buffs/anything else it’s fine and won’t be considered as account sharing.

That brings up an interesting question then. What about mules? Clearly they are a separate account from your own, so would that qualify as "another person's account"?

And just as clearly most people seem to have at least one for HS or storage which fulfills the "buffs/anything else" part you mentioned.

You can have as many accounts as you want, so long as you’re the only person logging in to it. Meaning to say, if you own the account that has the mule, it’s not considered account sharing.

If you use your Friend/Brother/Sister/whatever’s account to use their character for god knows what and/or they gave you their account (after quitting or whatever) and you log in for mule/items/whatever, then yes. It’s account sharing.

Hope this helps to clear things up!
im sick and can’t be bothered to think of some other word for whatever. So whatever. Lmao.

That makes me curious on how they know whether that's a mule account or your brother/sister/relative now, hahaha. If you were active enough on the mule, and you logged in from the more or less same location, wouldn't it be rather indistinguishable from an actual account?

Should be resting rather than messing around in the forums then.

Well for starters, there are already a few ban appeals that state they were “using Friend account” or “it was my Brother”. The classic. :p
And then we also have careless players who confide in their buddies about using an account they don’t own, then get reported and banned.
    Meh.
    I dunno.

    i would but I’m at work :(

As long as YOU created the mule accounts, and only YOU logged in, then you're fine.
You don't need to know how we know a particular player is account sharing. Simple rule to follow here is ONLY to log into account(s) that YOU own/created by YOURSELF.

Hope this is explicitly clear enough.

Thanks Kai, that's enough for me I think, "don't do anything bad and nothing bad will happen to you"
