I was a Drake's Meal Table. I always wondered why you can find green snails there among all the cold eyes, drakes and wild kargos. I googled it and I found this: "This monster is interestingly enough based off player-created lore surrounding a random Snail that spawns in Drake's Meal Table inside the Ant Tunnel, a very odd location. It has been adopted into a real monster due to its popularity. Surprisingly, it can jump and moves pretty fast, for a snail. No one has been able to calculate Bob's exact age but he appears to be even older than Grendel. Bob proves that big things come in small packages through his heroism by saving someone from the drakes. Bob the Snail's spawn rate is low. Its shell is needed for Jay's Curiosity quest." Do we have any really oldschool maple players that knows more about this Bob snail? Also, I found out that the snails are just regular snails. Are they perhaps a reference to this Bob snail by any chance?
The mob 'Bob' spawns at that map. When you kill it, it spawns like 5 green snails. There's that quest for it but nothing else as far as I know.
Bob is the single most important reason I still play Mapleroyals. And I think he spawns about 15 Snails because I need to Roar to get rid of them all. I'm not sure though. 12 maybe?
Also the spooky story behind Maple Global, Bob the snail is apparently the White Lady's creation of her husband before she died of murder from another Nexon employee. Long story short, her and another employee was change map files to put eachother's nudes on display and the other employee came over and killed her while logged in. Even after she died, her character was seen appearing in Perion for some time back in the day. There's a sequence to summon her but hasn't work for me on Royals.

Back in the day, wild cargo's were the strongest monster in all of maplestory. Some dev put the weakest monster in the game in the same map as the strongest ones for shits and giggles. Players joked about and questioned this and one guy was like "yeah, that's my snail, his name is bob." which became a meme.
Bob is actually some artificial intelligence gone rouge... a self aware snail that was sick of seeing so many players going off on adventures, he just wanted to be part of the fun. One time I was at Drakes he asked me if I had any nearest town scrolls
Bob is many beings and we are but one. Bob is the one true god. The one true faith. He is our saviour. All hail Bob.
