Cannot download anything

I tried downloading the set up posted on the website, and it worked. So I waited till the download was over.

Then I tried downloading the client, but google chrome itself blocks it before I can attempt to download. I know that the trojan stuff are false, but I cant bypass the block from google chrome. My set up download finished but it got blocked as soon as it did. Do I need to use Internet Explorer or something?

Internet Explorer blocks it too :c

 

Firefox never blocked it for me.
Or you can try this, not sure if it's up to date:


Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings.
Click Show advanced settings and find the "Privacy" section.
Deselect the "Enable phishing and malware protection" checkbox

 

didnt gm katsu say fire fox 31 blocks the downloads now?

and does the client run on windows 8?

 

The client works just fine for windows 8, sometimes you have to run it in compatability mode. I haven't updated my firefox so I dont know if the new version blocks it- but you can try the above to disable Chrome from trying to block the download.

 

Thanks for your help, the chrome setting worked. But now, the client downloader is acting up. I get This webpage is not available error now, when I click on the client download. Shouldn't it automatically download when I click? :c the set up works fine..

 

Did you manage to download the client finally? And yes, Firefox v31 does block .exe downloads from sites it doesn't "trust". I hope they'll enable a better solution for downloading .exe files from specific sites in future updates! >_<
