hey, Almost every cwkpq group waits hours for 2 pirates. Also, I saw few groups go off because of that. The number of pirates in the server is extremely low near all of other classes. I suggest to reduce the demand to 1 pirates. The PQ will still have the class things, but it will make forming a group much easier. Easier forming = more groups run = more active server. Thanks.
I suggest we buff pirates. Stronger pirates = more pirates = easier forming = more groups run = more active server. :> Edit: But honestly, you're right. There are not enough pirates willing to CWKPQ and it's quite a large source of frustration. Another (more complicated, but more immersive) solution could be to only require 8 members -- two of each class from any four classes -- and only spawn the boss for classes that actually show up.
Corsairs are gaining popularity but they aren't as common as nightlords, warriors and archers. Buccaneers are almost non existent in this server because of their absolutely thrash tier dps. Please, please, bucanneers are in need of a massive buff... I disagree to reducing pirate requirements for cwkpq. Removing the pirate requirement for cwkpq would only exacerbate the plight of pirates. They are already unfavoured and it would be unfair to make them 'more unnecessary'. Hey, maybe new players would see the constant smega for pirates and think, yeah, I should play a pirate to get easy entry to cwkpq.
Pirates are usually not in high demand, which is why there are less of that class compared to most others. The implementation of CWKPQ and it's requirement of 2 of each class is a prime example of something that will increase that demand, and that is a healthy addition to the server for Pirates. Removing the requirement will not do any good in solving the lack of Pirate characters on the server.
most of the cwkpq runs i go on dont usually have a pirate shortage but rather archer/nl. i think ur just looking for them at a bad time.
This thread is regarding CWKPQ requirements, if you want to discuss pirate buffs then you should post in the relevant feedback threads. However, I will say that we do consider pirate buffs, and have already implemented some in the past. For example in Update #50 we increased the rate of Energy Charge for Buccaneers, as well as increased Rapid Fire's damage. And we will consider further buffs if there are good arguments to do so, and if feasible to do so. Balance changes need to be done with care, so it can take some time for possible buffs to be implemented.
