IGN: chocoiat Problem: number of slots decreased (ws didnt work) Details: I always scrolled my dragon revolver with white scrolls+10% gun att scrolls. However, when i scrolled it this time, the slots decreased (from 5 to 4). And the white scroll and gun att scroll disappeared. The attachment is the screenshot after scrolling. Please help me.
The server can only send back one of those messages each time you scroll an item. So the server must have received two scrolling requests, one without the white scroll button being ticked/clicked and then one with the white scroll button being ticked/clicked. There was a total of 17 seconds between Snowball sending the message "T3", and Raephyr sending the message "d". So there was definitely enough time for 2 scrolls to have been used, even with legendary spirit (~4-5 seconds). Therefore we must conclude that you accidentally used a slot without a white scroll, causing one slot to be used up. And just like with other white scrolling accidents, we don't and haven't ever compensated for them, as that would lead down a slippery slope of people trying to abuse the system.
Thanks Matt. I know there's 17 sec between those 2 msg. But once u scroll, the system will send u personal msg to inform u if u passed/didnt pass the scroll. Ans there's only 1 msg in my case, witch means only one scroll was used.
You received two messages: 1) "The scroll lights up, but the item winds up as if nothing happened" 2) "The item upgrade failed, but since the White Scroll was used, the number of upgrade slots remained in tact." The messages are client sided and are not part of our chat logging system, and we do not log scrolling attempts. I have already explained that there is no possible way for two results to be given for one scrolling attempt. You may think that you only scrolled the item once, but for those two messages to appear on your screen, the server would have received two scrolling requests. Therefore as much as you think you didn't scroll the item twice, it was indeed scrolled twice. Accidents happen, and sometimes people realise when they have made the mistake, and sometimes they don't. We must handle this issue in the same manner as anyone else to be fair and not set a dangerous precedence, and so we cannot help you with this mistake.
