As cs/ws prices are dropping heavily it's come to the concern that the overall value for gloves, capes and shoes should probably also be altered accordingly. To be completely honest I thought the drop in cs/ws would only last at most around a month, but instead whats happening seems to be the opposite, as cs/ws prices have dipped to an all time low of around the margins of 400m from what used to be 500m. A change also sounds reasonable because as someone who's saved up quite a few cs before the drop, and I'm sure there are others that have too, I wouldn't want to be paying 10-12 extra cs/ws of what I would have originally paid just because cs/ws prices dropped. For example if an 18 atk pgc costs 25-27b according to the price guide, but lets say 27b for purposes of more accurate calculations, you'd be paying exactly 54 cs/ws if related to cs/ws prices before the drop (500m per scroll). However, since the price is near 400m now you'd have to pay around 67 cs/ws +300m to buy the exact same item. Just want to shed some light on this topic because it would be hugely unfair to people that have tons of scrolls saved up from before only coming back to the game and realizing they've been cucked due to the huge drop in cs/ws. Like Imagine if you have 80 cs/ws saved up in your store. That's an 8b loss in profit. So in order to make the game more fair and balanced again I'm suggesting an equalization in the prices for gear.
Godly gear that is rare and in demand is always going to hold its value better during deflation, just simple supply/ demand economics. Cs/ws are pretty common and with the massive increase in supply at the event of the anniversary event their prices have dropped. Just like the real world during deflation some of your items devalue greater than others. Don't see any need to try and artificially adjust this. Sucks for people hording cs/ws, but it happens.
Market is market mate. It dictates the prices of anything and everything. If the item is really unique, say a wa29 sock, then you have full control of the pricing lmao! Ecksdee
I’m hopeful that the next few events will not have any cs/ws drops. With double nx, the summer cake event, and the fact that people liquidated their savings in cs/ws for chair gach, the market took a 20% hit almost across the board. I believe that there have been several decent cs/ws sinks added recently, the introduction of cwkpq has added spectrum goggles and blackfist capes which due their supply, they will slowly eat away at the surplus of cs/ws. Not to mention Christmas event is in a few months and I assume that means red socks, which are another cs/ws sink. I think we will start to see normal prices around December hopefully Edit: typos on phone
Those that store wanted to avoid taxes . It backfired on them . No reason to change the market for people who wanted the easy way out when BCoin was the stable choice.
If gears are still expensive, and materials become cheaper, just make them yourself and profit from it; that's how the market balances itself
The Economy adjustment isn't bad. alot players has been missing the days where WS/CS is price ~350mil. Very true, similar to how sales in real life works as well. Let us look at our favourite new iPhone 2018 for an example, lol u can price anything and ppl will still buy it i Doubt prices of Equipment will drop as the demand is always there with a limited supply. This is a good chance for newer players that will be coming in the next season of life, such as halloween and after examination periods. Personally i'm also excited to see changes to how economy changes for the worst or the better. Who knows? Release Pink bean, A large amount of old school players come back and ws jumps back to 500 LOL. we can never know what happens but to enjoy the content that will be available
One of the largest bull that I have heard in a long time. So for people who bought CS/WS a long long time ago at 200m, should we penalize them for buying at such a cheap rate previously? Or for people that bought gears when they were cheaper, are u also going to suggest to make it a law that they need to sell their gears at the price that they bought it at? Prices fluctuate with the market, with the constant change in demand and supply. Its a risk you take when you choose to stock up on CS/WS.
Never said anything about penalizing anyone. Don't take words out of my mouth. I was merely only making a suggestion afterall. If you looked back long time ago, you'd realize that prices were actually a lot cheaper than they are now most likely due to the fact cs/ws were a lot lower in value compared to now. For example a 15 atk scg would cost around 1.3-1.4b whereas a 15 atk now would cost 2.1-2.2b. If you think I'm going to buy something like a 20 atk glove for 8 more cs than the usual price then you obviously have no sense of the value of cs/ws prices. 8 cs=24 hours of petri leech= 24 hours of mindlessly pressing buttons and staring at your screen. I don't see how people wouldn't take this into account unless you rwt or literally don't care, because you didn't actually earn anything yourself at all.
Why would anyone willingly lower the prices of their items simply to cater to those who decided to hold onto a bunch of Chaos/White Scrolls? If nobody wants to pay a certain price for an item then the price will adjust itself anyway.
Those who sell end game att gear will further lower the price when they are desperate enough. From my observation, general price of end game gears already went down. I remember Jake selling a 17 att shoe for 45b when cs/ws price was ~500m. Recently a 18 att shoe got sold for 46b. Are you trying to persuade the sellers or the buyers with your suggestion? Because this is capitalism and end game gear sellers won't gice a crap no matter how much people plead for a discount. If you are targeting buyers, you should rather start a no-buy campaign in an off topic section. However, I think the market is already depressed enough with less meso influx in the server. Almost every big mercher I encountered are already struggling to liquidate their assets.
And wouldn't the reverse be true as well? If I bought the items in the past with 10 hours worth of leech svc, going by your logic, why should I be allowed to sell them at 15 hours worth of leech? So you only target what benefits you, and ignore what does not benefit you?
Leech was a lot more rarer in old source where cs/ws prices were valued at 350m each. And it does feel like leech is becoming quite a bit rarer nowadays too due to less meso influx. You have to look at both sides of the pendulum before you begin making judgements. Anyways, Sparky pretty much summed up everything I wanted to point out so I don't have much to really add on to this topic anymore.
