There are a few things I need to know. 1. Does Elemental staffs and wands reduce Holy damage on this server? Or this is removed? 2. What weapon should I use as a lukless Priest / Bishop, especially at levels 70 and 120 +? 3. What equips should I use? Currently, I only have the option of bathrobe, work gloves, snowshoes, etc. I'm looking for something more useful, other than a zakum helm of course. I'm lukless. 4. Should I max Holy symbol first or Shining Ray first? 5. Where to train at levels 70 - 90 or so? 6. Where to train at level 45? 7. Where to train at level 120? Thanks!
1. it is removed. 2. maple wand/staff lv.35, 43, 64 and 77 -> elemental wands lv.70 and 130 3. anything that you can afford that has the most "tma" (total magic attack) = int+matk. If you get some luk from equips like htp and zhelm for example you can equip some low level mage gears which will give some extra int. 4. I would max hs first, I don't think shining ray is that useful. 5. mp3, ghostship, himes, zombies or any place that has holy weak mobs that u can heal or find a group or duo partner that wants you to hs at a location with or without holy weak mobs. 6. masterchronos, mp3, wraiths or any other mob that is holy weak. 7. at 120 time to start selling low level leech at the buyers requested location. Or you can go any map that you like with a decent spawn rate. Some good maps are: skele, ulu1 and harps.
Thanks man. One thing I don't understand though, you say the holy damage reduction is removed on elemental weapons. But you still suggest me to use maple weapons over elemental's. WHy's that? If the holy reduction is removed, then elemental weapons are better, cause they give more magic att.
didn't mean to write it that way, get what ever wand or staff you can get that has the highest tma. The low level elemental wands are kind of expensive and hard to come by compared to maple wands/staves so usually you will end up using maple ones early untill you get to 130 and can use the elemental wand 5, 6, 7 or 8.
like hampa said, you can get these gear very easily when you're lvl120 5. with magic guard and a chief bandit friend, go himes, get him to toss mesos in darksight and u heal and lure everything to the bomb. easy leveling. Get a Chief Bandit Friend, Go to bigfoot and destroy them with mesos bomb and u HS him. Even Easier Leveling Note* : (You need to be 5levels apart from ur chief bandit friend) Continue OPQ if u have friends, its pretty fun especially if u guys can get in groups such as voice chat ~lvl80 Look for friends with archmages who wants to get to 130 by begging for free leech by being HS mule (I've seen player make it work LOL)6. PQ is buffed, and pretty efficient to train there. especially OPQ 7. Selling low level leech and get yourself an Gene20 and maybe Gene30. some player choose to stay at that level to fund their low washing requirement attacker such as DK/Hero. Gear Wise, you should get what Hampa suggested, suggestion is get very very average gears, theres no need to spend alot money on them. invest in a Zak Helm or maybe even a Krex ring once u complete the quest line To start funding your character after lvl120 is the best choice you can go for!
I've met him in KPQ on my unwashed BM and he didn't even know what job can sell leech, maybe he just love BS at the beginning. He is a nice guy BTW, offered giving me some free items he got from KPQ.
Thanks for the support and the advice mates. I really appreciate it. Well, to be honest, things seem to be much more clear to me now. I was kinda confused about what gear to get because as a lukless cleric myself, there isn't a very large selection. I realized that being lukless is a lot better, because pure int feels more solid and straightforward - not having to worry about a second stat like LUK. Just popping int every level up. I hate the way lukless mages look though, so that's why I covered myself with so much NX clothes. I'm actually a full sized Teddy bear, haha. And yeah Mrkaren, no problem mate. Glad I was able to help you. In fact, I created an entire guild just for that kind of purpose. But, back on our topic, I read all your replies and they helped very much. Next up thing I would do, is focus on my levveling and after that look around for a zhelm first, then work on the other things later on. I'm pretty bad at scrolling, and I hate it, because it feels like a casino - you can either win or lose. So, I buy items scrolled already. I hope to find a staff or two around FM which is well scrolled. Right now, I'm with a lama staff with 65 m att on it. I 100%'d it with 7 scrolls. For now, that should be enough. I hope.
