Cant connect to login server

Hello,

The past 2 days I havnt been able to log in to my character. I can log into my account, click the channel i want to log in to, but every time I select my character the window immediately fades to black and a box comes up that says "You have been disconnected from the login server. Please try again later." Ive attempted many things to hopefully get it to work. Ive re-downloaded the client, cleared my cache in firefox, restarted my internet router, restarted my computer multiple times. I'm really stuck on this one. Any kind of other advice on what to do would be very helpful.

I can log in but kicks me out with the same message in like 5 second... when will this be fixed? Thank you!

There is a routing issue outside of the host's network which is causing some packet loss when connecting to the server. This might or might not be the cause of the problem, but unfortunately, we have to wait it out, as the routing issue is neither at our end nor theirs. =(

 

So it sends same amount of packets but you're not receiving high enough percentage of them due to whatever problem?

As for the routing issue, that's what we've been told by our host.

 

Kat, do you have an estimate on how long this might take?

 

The 8th and 9th hop have 100% packet loss. There's some connectivity issues here, hope you guys solve em.

@Holly , I've done some digging around in the database and it seems that the probable reason you can't login is that 2 of the MAC addresses associated with your account are also associated with a number of other accounts, including those of a vote abuser who has been banned until 17th Sept.

@Kekturi - Two of your accounts, or accounts associated with yours are also linked with the same MAC addresses as above.

 

Theres 2 Mac addresses associated with my account? Ive only played royals on MY mac and my boyfriends PC computer. And My BF uninstalled the game from his computer. Ive only made one game account for royals too. Im really confused with what your saying. So pretty much my account is banned for no reason?

 

I only play on 1 mac, My only accounts are [Censored for privacy]. I've been able to log in perfectly fine on my parallels client on all 4 of my characters so i'm not banned. It's only the Mac client that disconnects me.

@Holly @Kekturi - I suspect this is an issue related to MAC addresses generated by Parallels. I may be entirely wrong on this, and await further information from Matt and John, but the person who got banned for vote abuse appears to be a Parallels user, and this may be blocking logins for a number of people who have previously or who do currently use Parallels.

 

Yeah I used to use parallels but that was quite some time ago and I didn't even play royals when I had it. I'm pretty sure I got everything parallels related off my MAC when i stopped using it also.

 

If you'd like, I can COMPLETELY erase Parallels from my desktop and THEN try MapleRoyals on the Mac?

 

I am having this issue as well (except I just joined MapleRoyals). Except I can login, but I d/c after I double click my character on the selection screen. Do I have "Parallels" issues too? What is Parallels anyway?
