Dear MapleRoyals community,

A lot of you have complained to me about my inappropriate behavior on the forums in recent days and weeks. To be honest with you, you're totally right about your complaints. Yes, I have gone too far with my comments, and made some people around here feel offended and angry. For that, and anything else I have possibly done that was disruptive to the forums, I'm sorry.

I can promise to you that I will try to change and stop doing this. It might be difficult, but I will do my bests. Obviously, I would never insult anyone ever again.

I hope you accept the apology, and if you do, please vote on the poll I have made. Or, you can like my post.

If you know you have said offensive things and made some people angry, go apologise to them personally and own up your mistakes. Don’t make an entire off topic thread about how sorry you are for the world to see without even addressing who the apology is for, or for what exactly you did. Not only does it lack sincerity, you also come across as an attention seeker.

 

When I feel ashamed of myself, I find it best to just be silent and ruminate on my mistakes for a while. It's more helpful to both ourselves and others to think about how to improve in the future, rather than to keep talking and risk exacerbating bad feelings. Maybe you taking a few days' break from the game and forum would give everyone some perspective.

Dear friends,

I understand some of you accept the apology, and that's great. But, some of you still don't. There's something you must understand, let me explain.

I wanted to be someone kinda different, atleast on the forums. I wanted to be special, have something interesting to offer in replies that people can read and say "wow, that guy is very interesting". But, that plan had failed. So, I kept hearing people complaining about me and disappointed with the bad behavior and that some of my threads were trying to attract attention to myself without a valid reason, etc. For everything as a whole, and not just for insulting another player - I apologized. The apology applies to everything, not just insults. The apology is 100% honest, and this is not a joke. What happened had happened, and I can't go and edit every single post that was made prior to the apology - just to satisfy you. The apology is more than enough, and keep in mind that I didn't have to apologize - but, I chose to apologize, out of kindness. Out of understanding, that I was doing something wrong. So, that's really all I can do, and I promised to be a better member of this community. I can't do more than that. If you still don't accept the apology after all this - then maybe it just takes time, to heal the wounds. That's what it seems.

 

You could apologize directly to the girl that you called autistic.

Absolutely lost it @ him telling US that the apology is more than enough. Thanks for setting my own standards and expectations for me, Zofran.

 

1. I don't know. Maybe you're right.
2. If that's annoying you, I can stop and switch to a different subject for threads.
3. I forgot to mention your name in the initial post. Sorry! However, the apology includes you specifically. Also, in a previous post I apologized and mentioned your name. I hope you forgive, eh?
4. It's good to know and see who accepted and who didnt. Those who didn't, I'm okay with that. They might change their mind later.
5. No obsession! I just was curious about the subject, sweetheart.
6. I think, after what happened lately, no. But, in the future, maybe yes. The admins decide who can be a forum moderator, not me.
7. I was banned on a different private server in the past, but it's not the one people keep mentioning. Also, the ban was a temp ban, for a trivial offence. I prefer not to get into it too much, it's not a pleasant memory.
8. I don't agree with that. I think the thread actually helps people realize I'm sorry, and by that, helps them understand and feel better about the situation.

 

Okay, let's do this then.

If the apology is not enough - explain to me exactly what more I should do, and I'll do it, if it's not difficult or impossible.

Do we have a deal, mate?

Obviously, if you tell me to ask the Admins to ban me, that's not something I would do, haha.

Now I know why people made memes about you. Honestly though, I can't tell if you're just a really bad troll, or you really are apologizing. Not sure why you even decided to put a poll on this thread, because I'm pretty sure deep inside, you knew darn well people were going to favor clicking "no". As for how to start fresh, make an Islander maybe just take a break?
