I was wandering how much luk is 1 weapon attack for nightlords in this server, just wandering if 100 luk is better than 18 weapon attack for nightlords or not. Please let me know!

It depends on how much of each you already have.

I've been told in the past that the easiest estimation is to divide your total primary stat by your total weapon atk. In most cases for someone above level 30 and not nearing endgame equips, it's going to come out to around 1 atk = 5 luk, meaning the 100 luk is marginally better than the 18 atk.

The 5 Luk/1 Atk ratio is the most popular ratio I've seen being used for conversion so I'd go with this rate only during the higher levels where you have access to end game claws like Red Cravens and the Green/Purple Sleeves.

During the lower levels, however, this ratio is skewed, but this shouldn't be much of an issue seeing as the lower levels go by relatively quick for any new unnecessary calculations.

The damage formula is floor(LUK * 5 / 100 * Weapon ATT). This can be simplified to floor(LUK * Weapon ATT / 20). So Weapon ATT and LUK are weighted equally.

However, you will have more LUK than Weapon Attack, making Weapon ATT more efficient. So this means:

    1 W.ATT = [LUK/W.ATT.] LUK

    Example:
    You have 700 LUK and 90 W.ATT. So that means that 1 W.ATT = [700/90] LUK = 7.78 LUK.

The formula Marty provides is (almost) that of the maximum damage of Lucky Seven (and presumably the triple star variety as well), however I feel the conclusion lacks justification (and is presented in an unpleasant fashion: Attack² ≠ Luck² for most characters).

Multiplication is commutative, and division is but multiplication with multiplicative inverses, so we may comfortably simplify the formula thus:

    Maximum damage = Luck * 5 / 100 * Attack * Multiplier = Luck * Attack * Multiplier / 20.

Since we have a single expression with two unknowns, we cannot simply solve for, say, Attack. We can, however, solve for a change in Maximum damage under some given assumption.

If we, for example, decide Luck is fixed and investigate the effect of one point in Attack, we get

Change in damage with respect to Attack
    = Luck
    * (Attack + 1) * Multiplier / 20 − Luck * Attack * Multiplier / 20
    = Multiplier / 20 * (Luck * Attack + LuckLuck * Attack)
    = Luck * Multiplier / 20.

    Similarly, for Luck, we get

Change in damage with respect to Luck = Attack * Multiplier / 20.

Knowing this we may gauge the relative effectiveness of Attack versus Luck:

Change in damage with respect to Attack / Change in damage with respect to Luck
    = Luck * Multiplier
    / 20 / (Attack * Multiplier / 20)
    = Luck / Attack

From this we conclude that, with a given amount of Luck and Attack, Attack will give you Luck / Attack times more damage than Luck.

Sorry for necro, this was the only post I found that had something beyond 1 WA = 5 LUK. So using the 700 LUK 90 WA example, it would essentially be 1 WA = ~7 LUK?

If the formula really is Luk divided by total attack, Sila must've had some CRAZY attack going on D: or very low luck, which I doubt
