I feel like it's always interesting and exciting to compare the dps of classes that come close in range with each other. There have been a lot of dps comparisons done in the past between BM's and Dark Knights / Heros vs Dark Knights, but I don't think there ever was a BM vs Pally matchup, thus I'll be doing a BM vs Pally matchup in krexel. Would just like to hear some opinions from other people before posting the results to make it more interesting. In my honest opinion, I do feel like bm will most likely get whited, but I've been getting different answers from friends I've been asking so far. Feel free to cast a vote. Lowkey excited to be honest about the outcome Both BM and Pally are near identical in gear Apples will be used, and the buffs that will be used will be SE, MW20, and echo. No need for Si because the pally already has max speed due to pyrope sword.
Depends on gear lol. BM scales better cause not hitting dmg cap though, while pally get caps at 199k crit with blast. So depends on what are the gear for this comparison.
oops forgot to mention, both bm and pally will have near identical gears besides maybe a couple dex off here and there from a zhelm.
He means it depends on the quality of the gear and attack potion since pally can not pass the 199k , thus having a disadvantage on end game conditions
Considering crash and HH being able to hit through weapon cancel, I don't see how a paladin would be less useful (in terms of damage contributed) compared to a BM except for really high attack range cases. Well, I am assuming paladin has a se mule so that isn't very fair either but se mules are much more common. It would be very nice if the total stats of the attackers(str, Dex, weapon attack) are made public too so I could throw the numbers into my calculator too
Will the Paladin solo his own Krexel and BM his own, or will they be on the same? Crash will benefit the BM too, more, in fact than it will the Paladin himself.
The same krex I assume according to the post , but if a se mule is allowed so crash mule should be too I guess ?
As @Nessi said, end-game conditions, Pallies are not the best at krex cause they'll even get whited by other warriors cause of damage cap being too low. If you don't use apple or better atk potions, now Paladins are the best attackers, especially with SI if they are crushed skull users. @Zerato If you ever make a particular class vs pally video, doing crash animation would decrease pally's dps as it is as slow as heaven's hammer's. It is a party skill and it does not help a Paladin's dps, but party's overall due to its slow animation.
Sounds fair. But if the Paladin is very strong, maybe the full potential of SE cannot be utilized? Or so I've heard. I've never seen a Paladin hit 199999 yet though. Is Crash really a party skill? I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing here. If the Paladin did his own Krexel, he could avoid W. Cancel on left eye every 4th minute. The BM however would lose out on some DPS here. If they are together on the same map, I'm pretty sure Crash will remove the cancel no matter if he's in party with the BM or not. Crashing then, will give BM an advantage but just slow down the Paladin himself (due to slow animation as you mentioned)
@Zerato Exactly, the moment a Paladin crashes weapon cancel, a BM will still attack and the pally will have a 1.5 seconds inactivity. About the 199k dmg hit, on stoppers, a 11k (mw20) and above range sword-pally will be able to hit it on SE quite consistently.

Yeah, rip 199k dmg cap . Just sticking to stoppers could do it, but it's not the end-game as Nessi mentioned about, so...
