hello people, advice needed

i really am sad about the fact that i reached lvl 135 as an ice lightning mage, and then ive been told its not a boss character. the whole endgame is bossing and i feel like im missing a big part of the game not being able to play the bossfights. is there really no chance that the chain lightning atk is good against zakum or horntail? is there really no hope for mages when it comes to bosses?

i would like for suggestions on what to do. should i open a new boss class? what should it be? ( i dont wanna play assasin or bandit) is marksman a character for bosses?

 

i asked in the game and someone told me to open a new character. i dont like leeching its boring X_X
do u know if they will ever add bless of the fairy skill into the game? should i open the new character in a new account so i can leech it? or should i place it in the same account so if there will be blessing of the fairy it will get the attributes

 

Mages are only decent if they can hit a lot of targets with their ultimates (like blizzard, meteor etc) but at 1vs1 their damage is really bad and is less than a half of that of the physical attacker classes.
Also while Bishop is wanted in parties due to their support buffs (especially HS), archmages got no useful buffs at all to help the party.

 

Why don't you just keep playing your i/l archmage and boss with it?

So what if your damage isn't good. If you fund yourself well it can be decent. If you reach lv 155, you can still join community runs like black cats horntail. They take anyone regardless of class.

 

if u have friends that dont mind u can go bossing on your IL.

 

Yeah i do agree that it won't be easy, but i think that if OP takes some time to make friends, I think that he can find some people to take him to zak.

 

Well while you won't really be wanted for bosses, as the above poster said, you can just fund yourself and still be taken. Also, definitely find some friends or a guild. I ran zak with my guild not too long ago(unfortunately 2 of our other attackers dcd) and it was fine. I was an attacker. My damage wasn't stellar but I'm also pretty unfunded except for a 195TMA wand7. So just grind, get funded and get some friends and you'll be totally fine.

 

thank u guys for the comments. i guess ill just open a dragon knight or something and the il mage will be the funding character. its just frustrating because i didnt know that u cant boss with mage class and i really like to play as a mage.

 

If you would like an easy bossing class pick the hero. They pretty much don’t need to be hp washed and have great damage.
