What is a rude player to you?

Here is another pm about behaviour that could be interpreted as being rude:
(this was a pm of a player reacting to a simple question about another player that was interested in joining his guild)

 

Honestly there's no rudeness here.

 

I guess I must be too noob to be PM'ed by Zofran...

 

All of the above except someone who wouldn't want to party with me. If they don't want to party then that's their discretion but if it's someone that's being rude with no remorse then that's totally rude. Even if you're joking at least let them know you're joking instead of being an idiot.

 

Well, the truth is, even though some of you might not realize it, is that "rude" is a matter of personal opinion most of the times. We all live in different countries, societies, etc., and even at the same societies. Some say this is rude, others say it isn't, etc. So, it varies greatly. There are things that can be widely agreed on that is rude - like cursing, pushing people at a bus, or yelling / shouting at others. Things that are obviously disrespectful, are obviously rude. But, let's say I am not taking someone in to my party - he/she could consider that rude, but I don't. I just found a higher leveled player, who was more suitable for my party, etc. So, as you can probably tell, it's almost always based on personal opinion in these situations. In real life situations, it's a lot different than in game. But if you had to take a regular, everyday situation in game - whether it's rude or not, depends on how you look at it. And yeah, some players tend to get easily offended, and consider a lot of things rude - but, I try not to take things seriously or personally on this game. At the worst, I blacklist somebody or ignore him/her. I rarely do anything more than that. If I'm not wrong, I haven't reported any player since the first day I joined this server, so that's a good point.

Well, you see... the point is, like I said, that "rude" can be to you, but not to me, or to him, etc. It's a matter of how someone looks at a certain action. If Onisan thinks it was rude, I'm sorry to hear - but at the same moment of kicking him out of the guild, I didn't feel like I was being rude. Regardless, it seems the man was deeply offended by this guild kick, so I apologize. However, I recommend he join a different guild, since my guild is meant for new players. So, like I said - rude is a matter of personal opinion. It's pointless to argue about a specific thing, which you might say is rude, but I would say its not. Some people get offended more, some people get offended less, etc. We're all different, man.

 

Yo zofran if your guild is meant for new players, why did you tell them that they need to pay 50m to become a jr? You robbing new players of their hard earned mesos?

Well, one of the guys agreed to donate, and I needed money at the time. It's not nice to say I'm robbing, because I only asked for it once, and that specific guy agreed. You need to learn the full story before you jump to things.

 

If Onisan insists - he/she can join again. But, I dont want any drama again. I remember he/she asked me a very stupid question, I forgot what it was. My guild is generally very peaceful, and there are almost 0 problems, and I just didnt want a problem, so I kicked him out. He/she can re-join if he/she really wants to. But, no more drama please.
