Server Wipe?

Sure you don't need to HP wash, but the fact is that it's almost necessary to go on boss runs, unless you have the somewhat rare occurrence of having HB in your party (which doesn't happen much these days like it did in GMS).

 

But, that's an issue with people wanting to min-max their parties, not Hp washings fault. At some point people felt it was more valuable to spend billions of mesos on washing than it was to include a DrK for a fraction of less EXP each run.

Just because people don't want to bring HB, doesn't mean HP washing is required.

Edit: it makes me want to shelf my pally and pick up my DrK again. lol

 

If you want to participate in all of the bosses this server has to offer you do need to wash tho

 

As already mentioned by other people in this thread, I'm going to repeat the same thing.
If this server had more than 1 or (exceptionally 2) wipes, the population would decrease drastically and coming back from that would (in my opinion) be very hard/near impossible.
So this is my 2 cents, a big NO NO from me for a wipe.

 

I for one would just quit if there was a wipe.
All this wipes just makes all your progress null, and makes you think that any progress made after will eventually be erased too.

All the major bosses though, (Zak, HT, Pap, Pianus) are 100% doable without washing. Of course there's some other bosses (Toad anyone?) which certain unwashed classes will never be able to do, but it was never designed to be done by some classes, which already have really strong niches elsewhere in the game (although, admittedly in practice it isn't so true).

I'd also argue that bossing is not the only end-game goal. Unpopular opinion I guess, but you can get to 200 without bossing, and like with any game, some classes can do some things others cannot, and I don't think that should change. NL have good DPS but struggle with health, mages have little bossing potential but good farming potential, other classes offer utility in bossing and but are lesser in damage (some good with HP, others with not).

I don't think every class needs to have the inherent HP to boss all "optional" bosses, and I don't think people not wanting to use HB should mean HP washing is mandatory.

 

I would suggest including a poll to better quantify reception towards your feedback. But even then, I cannot see a wipe being favored this far into the server’s lifespan, the stake for a big chunk of people is literally years of mapling gone to waste. How many would readily start over after that? Probably not half of them.

 

For sure, but then again think of the new players, whos willing to start now? FEW, so as I said and I wil always be saying, this is the end bois.
100% for wipe, give it a chance. Alot of people have christmas break now and there is still 500 online only, it keeps dropping.

I Support your Ideia! In fact this is the best Moment for a Server Wipe

Let me Tell you why... Recently with this Update many Hardcore Farmers have lost the Ability to farm lots of HeartStoppers.
Those were Farmers that dedicated to make many many Farm mules. Now you can Farm still but... imagine farming with 4, 5, 6, 7....8,9,10 clients! or more! Its a disaster

If you let me add to your Ideia. What do you think about adding No multiclienting and no more Auto hp pots? So we can avoid the Issue with Stopperfarm and Afk Farm in general and make Bosses more challenging?

Why not a full wipe in ur account? Its very easy i think haha.. We have not all started playing for 4 years

 

Well how will a wipe (basically just a reset button) solve the ‘problems’?

So, say 4 years after a reset and things become to the current state again, do we wipe the server again? What’s the point really, people don’t start a revolution to replace a system with the same system.

I think people are confused between wanting a new update or world with a wipe. Or just to fit their competitive needs haha...

 

For me its either a Server Wipe with no more Pet looting and without multi clienting system (GMS like) or we can let Pet autohp idk... but definatly without multi clienting

Just a update that get rid completly of Heartstoppers and let ppl Summon Farm again at other places. And probably if botters are the problem just introduce a Programm into a Programm with captcha or something. If you dont do the captcha every 20mins you get a Auto DC or something like that. Im not sure if it's easy to programm something like that. Probably not.
