Can't Connect

I haven't played MapleRoyals in years. I came back like 2 weeks ago and played for a couple of days with no issue. Now, whenever I try to play I am able to open the client, log in, select character, and enter PIC. The game closes immediately afterwards and I don't receive any error message. Sometimes the game freezes for a second before disconnecting.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know how to fix it? Thank you in advance!

 

Same as you!!! do you get the "unable to connect to the game server" message after you pick ch and enter PIC?

 

I don't get any message! It just closes out as soon as I enter my PIC.

I'm on Windows 10 and my firewall & network protection is off (although it didn't need to be when the game worked a little while ago). And the MapleRoyals client is added as an exception to Windows Defender.

 

Did all of the above and followed everything there is im pretty lost too...

 

I'm having the same issue, or gets dced instantly after seeing the char and logged in for maybe 5 seconds. This is so irritating!!

 

I can now play but with my hotspot (3G) from the phone... temporary soloution but still... better than nothing for now till an official can adress this issue

 

i tried with my phone on 4g, same thing on my end.

 

Where are you from? Because Israelis with the same ISP are getting the same problem too

I got it working on my end! Instead of using the icon that gets created on the desktop after a clean install, I went into the MapleRoyals folder and ran the MapleRoyalsFullScreen client and it loaded with no issue! I may have also Ran as Administrator, not sure. After the game opened up I just hit Alt+Enter and continued playing as usual.

Still, this is a very awkward issue. I'm playing from USA, in Texas btw.

 

We don't recommend using free VPN.
