Should vote abusers be able to make a new account after their banned?

ask yourself, if you ever were to be banned for vote abuse would you want a second chance to play yes or no? After all after you have been banned the first time wouldn't you learn your lesson and not do it again?

 

i'll tell you why not good idea..
those abusers clealry don't give a f about the server rules and looking for ways to explit the system in their favor..
off top of my head i can think on few ways those abusers can exploit this change which i wont say here or anywhere else since it might drive idiots try it.

1. Vote Abuse - The act of attempting to, or successfully, bypassing the restrictions of voting no more than once per 24 hours. Punishment: First offense - 14 day ban, Second offense - Permanent ban. Please be aware that, in cases of severe abuse as per discretion of staff, we reserve the right to respond with a permanent ban regardless of if it is your first offense.

Well my friend thought it was a temp ban but he he got a perma ban that was like a year ago and according to my friend the rules didnt specify the bold black section that is on the bottom. Also I want to point out that there is an average of 800 people on this server at any given time and there are 68,000 votes It looks to me like there is a lot of vote abuse happening right now so I say look into that and hopefully the server will still have half the current population when your done because its no fun playing on a server with no one on it.

 

There could also be players who simply vote, but do not play the game actively.

 

Vote abusing because you think you'll only get a temp ban just implies what he did was wrong and he knew it- which throws the whole "Mistake --> Second Chance" argument out the window. Also, I'm fairly (pretty confident) that it has said that for at least a couple, if not more years. People just read it literally and assume where the line for "severe" is as much higher than it really is.

A lot of people who don't play regularly vote. Additionally, just because there is only 800 people on at once doesn't mean it was only 800 people in 24 hours.

I understand but take the fact that it isnt even 800 people there are mule accounts in that 800 so if each person played royals for an hour a day which is far less than what most people play for that would come to a total of 19,200 people and as you can tell 19,200 people yet there are 68,000 votes something doesn't add up. But wait then you would have to deduct the amount of mules and other idle double accounts out of the original 19,200 "players" if I had to guess I would say around 20-25% of that and would get less then 15,000 individual people 15,000 players = 68,000 votes......................... But wait theres more, were not even starting to look into who these people actually are as far as if their rule braking aside from vote abuse and what I think you people dont understand is how by making it illegal to do things that most people do makes it easy to to take action against them when the law sees fit in this case admins, Im not saying that was the intention of these rules I'm just saying it can and will be taken advantage of thats just human nature.

 

This basically shows how many players is. Human’s greed will easily just continuously vote abuse again and again, finally crashing the market, and possibly the server as well

 

I am being accused of being my friend Blando, he was banned for vote abuse because I bought his computer after the incident I to was banned for "ban evasion". I provided screenshots of my friend admiring to it but that isnt enough proof that I am innocent. Regardless of me having not broken a single rule they banned me and want to to provide more proof being that that is physical impossible my next best best is to show of these statistics I have gathered and make my case on vote abusing. Now I am going to post some evidence to back up my statistics on vote abuse on the server. Notice in these screen shots that were taken seconds after each other that royals has more then double the voters yet the same population as its competitor AriesMS. Well isnt that something

 

i think that 68k number is the total # of votes for this month. so 68,000/24 days = 2,833 votes per day which seems pretty reasonable to me

i also think if people were allowed to make new accounts after abusing, then they would simply just:
abuse -> get money -> give money to friend who doesn't abuse -> get banned -> make new account -> get money back -> profits

 

well that is a good point I didnt realy think about it that way but I do think a second chance should be given at anything but thats just me

I have no reason to explain that to you as you are very aware, your intention for saying that was to prove to me that you are informed by an admin regarding our conversations that were supposed to remain confidential. you just let myself now the entire server know that admins will disclose information that they shouldn't.

 

playing stupid will not convince me anything. you are referencing something I already disused with the admins and we both know it, I know that shane banned me officially for "ban evasion" but in reality it was because I defamed one of his/your friends and you guys dug up any reason you could find to ban me. your only human but you guys went overboard with your revenge and from my personal experience what goes around comes around, in fact these circumstances I believe are karma for me because of some of the things ive done and its just the way of the jungle.

 

I doubt there is any information that was leaked, neither is there anything profitable/beneficial by getting these confidential information for and from any admins/players.
Take a chill pill, you’re probably overthinking.
Discuss this with your ban appeal if you’re wronged, no reason to make an entire discussion as such.
Since as you see from the above polls, giving a second chance to players means giving a giant opportunities for malicious players to abuse the Game/Content.

 

if you have been around for bit you would know that this is the standard for cases like yours (where two people used the same computer and one got banned). Even if you haven't seen cases like that before it is a pretty fair assumption to make, that this would be accepted as proof.
