This Seriously Needs To be fixed...

I addressed this issue right after the Ulu & ToT patch (which the hype is now all dead because skeles > everything else). Sivir and I are like the only people that grind at Petrifighters because we can one hit them. She said one time that she used like 50 safety charms just because of server crashes. And its happening for me too. This fix should not take long as all you really need to do is go into the .wz files and change the X/Y coordinates of the character map spawn. Such a simple fix for such a crucial thing. Thank you.

 

Tip: if you're dual clienting, log into your non-mage first and wait until the area is clear.

 

I am dual clienting, but it's with my bishop for HS. So that doesn't work either. I just have to mash the Trade button whenever i start lagging that i will respawn in the FM, but it never works because it's lag then dc.

Do you have the latest WZ files? I was under the impression this was fixed as part of our August WZ patch.

 

I dont believe it was, as it still happens to me in Ulu 2 and I've got updated files.

 

Me too in Ulu 2, so annoying! Although in saying that spamming Magic Guard does seem to help...

 

I have nothing to contribute but I must say, I love your paint edits of the screenshots. Made me laugh.

yeah the spamming MG works at ulu 2 because you don't actually touch the mobs until you fall to the ground. in the petrifighter map, you spawn right on the mob without even getting time to MG.

 

We need to do a .wz update sometime soon, as Daan fixed a bunch of stuff for us, this problem included, but it hasn't gone live yet. It would probably make most sense to do it in just over a week's time, so that the Halloween event is included in the .wz update.

This is not officially resolved. But I've made a temporary Map.wz that should fix this problem (at least in the Ulu region). I will make sure to add this in the next patch, and I apologize for your inconvenience, but I honestly had no idea about this (I'm still pretty new, etc) Do feel free to PM me about busted spawns/mods in the future and I will make sure to fix the problem asap.

And please, oh please, do not use the same event as last years Halloween event, i want my mummy mask, etc to be valuable because I have played for such Long time and wouldn't want to see the newer people get them.

You know we all lost every piece of the event NX from all past events after that infamous hacking event so it would just be fair we are given the chance to get some back. If not this just reminded me to make a thread about my beard and shit.
