I'd say 10-10.5k hp is the minimum because below this you won't be able to tank HT and will only survive if you are lucky. Getting 12k will allow you to tank some additional bosses like shaolin, samurai, or bigfoot's touch damage. As for the battleship I guess you could use low hp potions (elixir for example) against things like zak so it will only heal you to around 6k hp and your ship will survive longer
Dismounting is inevitable if you wish to exert maximum damage. Unless you have a seriously unstable and laggy connection, high HP shouldn't matter at the end when you have mastered the art of dismounting. Many experienced corsairs don't even care about HB since it makes no difference as they dodge every % based attack anyway.
Sorry I'm a bit green on this but how do they dodge every % based attacks? Haven't really bossed on my Sair since I screwed up on the late HP washing. Working on my Bish now to carry it a bit to properly wash. So was wondering if you can help teach me the tricks for Sairs bossing. Thanks in advance!
Lets look at major raid bosses. Krex No dismounting is required because there are no % based attacks. Every attack is 2~3k magic dmg or 6~8k physical eye touch damage. Sair can stay on ship and attack until the shipwreck. Zakum There is only one % based attack which is 1/1 attack. Dismounting is also compulsory to dodge stuns as well. 1/1: Zak shows a blinding light of circle which charges for a second before it reaches everyone in the map. There is enough time to anticipate this attack, looking at the pictograph, and dismount just before getting hit. Stun: Zak shows a red circle pictograph before raining down the map with stunning pillars. The moment you see the red circle, dismount immediately and get ready to reposition your self using recoil if the stun pillar is about to fall on top of you. If pillars are going to fall everywhere without leaving a safe area, and if you got enough hp to tank zak's body, I recommend recoiling into the body to take physical damage but avoid the stun. Horntail There are far too many things to dodge here because nearly every attack from 3 heads, although they are not all % based, deal a heavy load of damage that can easily wreck the ship. You should look at Eli's corsair guide in HT for this section. Toad There are pictographs for every attack except the tongue which one can anticipate and dismount. The tongue.. is something you can't really anticipate earlier but just need to react within 0.5 sec in order to dismount in time. Shaolin With limited time, the dismounting rule doesn't really apply here. Stay on the ship but always stand above the spiky spear trap so you can receive 20 dmg most of the time instead of 4~11k dmg from the boss.
That is really awesome. Thanks so much for the detailed explanation. Seems like Krex could be a good option for my un-washed Sair. Just wondering how many pots and sets of Eternal bullets would I need to down both eyes with a 3k range?
