Hi, I just joined and would like to get some advice on what class to choose. I want an uncommon class - not classes like cleric, assassin, etc. Something that would make me unique because not many players choose that class. I thought about pirate, etc. But, are they good for new players? Thanks
go with dual blade! Also there is some post by the admins with annual statistics somewhere, you can have a look what job is uncommon.
Pirates are a great choice! They have good damage output, especially Corsair, they have the highest single damage in the game and they don't require much funding to play. I recommended trying out Fire-Poison mage too, using their skill Poison Mist/Breath they can train in many high level places that is not easily accessible to other classes. You can also refer this, to find what other classes are unique too.
I need to see if this is a good class to go with, even though I agree they can be fun. I heard somewhere, in some old Maple guide, that their DPS is lowest out of all classes! I thought Dual Blade isnt available in this server? I'll think about it. If the DPS thing I heard about them isnt true, maybe they're a good choice. Yeah, I'm thinking Corsair or a Bucc, or, maybe, - Bandit, if the Meso Explosion isnt nerfed on this server.
Hi again, thanks for all your advice friends, I decided to be a Magician. Until I get to level 30, I give myself time to think which kind of magician to be. But, it will probably be I/L or F/P. I appreciate all your help, thanks.
There's only one thing that worries me a lot, if I go as a Wizard, whether I/L or F/P, and no one accepts me into boss parties because of my class. It could end up as a nightmare.
it was a joke. the real answer was inside the spoiler -.- I just said this to a guy in fm. What do you care about what other ppl think, why care what jobs other ppl have? Just do what makes yourself happy, choose the job you really like. If no one accepts you to boss parties then they are "holes at the bottom of the body", if the whole server does, you know, the whole server is "holes at the bottom of the body". But you know what, it is not the case, there is nice ppl and you can find them and play a nice game together with them. Maple was about fun and exploring nice maps and doing PQs, I suggest you play it like that. Leeching sucks. Bossing as only goal sucks. Dont care about it. Care about what is fun. In the worst case as a mage you can still help killing the server by selling leech and getting insanely rich of it.
