I have to quit because I'm unlucky

I have played this server for 2 years and I still have never had over maybe 150mil. I have literally voted every single day and spent 100% of my tickets on gachapon. I have not got anything yet that I can sell that's worth anything. I can't make any money. I get a character to level 70 and then I have to start over and make a new character because I'm so poor, that it takes me 2 hours to level up.

How am I supposed to get money and fund my character if I have poor luck? My entire life Ive had bad luck... so if there is no other way to make money in this game besides gambling.. I'm unfortunately going to have to quit

 

Sell AP Resets instead of Gacha tickets. They're a pretty constant value, you'll make ~25m or so each time you vote (a bit more).
Join a guild.
Go grind and sell drops!

 

Gambling in this server is mostly pointed for people who already rich and dont care to waste alil mesos on that,
mostly people get funds from grinding, some people do get luck and manage to scroll something good but not for starters unless you gached the scrolls you need and managed to scroll with them something good.
i would suggest making a bishop like any other person and farm sometime or just save a bunch of nx if you just into gaching and not selling ap resets.

 

I too am unlucky. just sell leech or farm items and thank the lord of consistency

 

Make a fire mage > Make a HS mule > leech 12 hours a day > BE rich (again)

3+ years of gaching here (never bought an ap reset with nx) and I've never seen an item better than a white scroll come from it. Took my 1st 1000 tix when i started to get my first bvm (ws equivalent at the time), 500 tix at shrine & never seen a chaos scroll, 1000 tix for my first taru totem, 600 tix for my first pgc at kerning city and finally now 500 tix into elinia and no lupin eraser. The only time a chaos scroll has done me much good is when I chaosed my zhelm which gave it 25 luk, but then took 21 ws with 60%'s for the 9 slots. All this and I still do very well for myself.

You can't have been here for 2 years without having an idea of how others make money: You either grind for the consistent farming/apq or you use your head and take calculated risks for easy profits. 2 options that you must be aware of by now, do one of them or both of them. Bad luck isn't why you're poor, it's because you are depending on it that you can't make money.

 

Pretty sure you are just bad at saving mesos

 

there are many ways, eg; hunting specific scrolls or farm @ ulu. if you expect to be rich just by gambling then i guess keep waiting. hardwork > gambling

 

You've to work your way up the ladder. If you want guaranteed funding, try selling AP reset instead. Once your funding is stable, go for gachaing.

 

this is the complaint of "im poor because i didnt win the lottery"
you can get money through more stable methods like buying and selling AP resets and farming coolies for teeth
dont expect to completely fund yourself with minimal effort spent farming meso

You say you quit every time you get to lvl70 because you have no money, yet I’m just wondering why in the world would you need more than a few mills at lvl70? You don’t need to be the game’s bill gates to play it. Play with your own community which are the other lvl70s. None of them are richer than you. You need to keep in mind that back then, MapleStory’s gachapon was basically the pay-to-win way to get stronger, yet somehow an entire community of thousands of people managed. This server is way less harder than the original maple, giving you tons of other ways to achieve your goals. But you’re not even at the point you need any mesos. Why do you need more than 150 mill at lvl70? To get 1bill potions? Cause potions is all you need at these lvls.
Now stop complaining and go pirate pq.

 

I actually played original maplestory and pre big bang I was the highest level hero on the server. I got to level 125 before 4th job advance even came out lol. But comparitively to other people I was strong. In this server everyone has money and good items, and I have no items so it seems that I level much slower than others.

 

You still haven’t answered my question - why do you need so much money, at lvl70? Most money is spent on gear people only get at around 150, yet you’re here at lvl70 acting as if you need a range of 8k to kill some mp3 mobs or cpq2 mobs.

 

then spend more time leveling. i used to grind at wr on my bish when i was 70 it was ridiculously slow using magic claw to kill them but i still did it to level up.

 

I started a mage>cleric>priest recently. Grinded at jr. wraiths, wraiths, MP3, hoodoo/voodoo and Mongs/Himes till Lvl 100+. Chose Heal training with 0 HP and very minimal MP pot costs. That char easily sits on 500mill mesos from drops etc.

Would definitely recommend this route if you're starting off on Royals. Works great later when you need to leech your other chars as well. Regretfully, I only started this route after years on Royals and I'm kicking myself for all that leech money paid lol
