Hey guys, I'm playing I/L AM as main character and I'm atm level 135. My goal is to 1-hit petrifighters next so do you have any advices on what to upgrade to get maximum cost efficiency, and/or do you have examples on what kind of gear you or a friend of you have to gain the 1260 magic needed for 1-hit? Gear at the moment : 169 TMA E wand 7 21 TMA maple shield 9 INT rac mask 28 TMA earrings 7 INT shoes 21 TMA gloves 4 INT maple leaf 18 TMA Gaia cape 5 INT silver deputy star 3 INT lovebirds ring 14 INT zhelm 21 INT doros robe IMO looting a new zhelm and scrolling it to 30+ int and buying a 180tma wand 7 would probably be the next gear. with mw20 you will gain an additional 5% of your base int, so if thats nearly 700 INT you would be looking at a +35 int (m atk) increase just from upgrading your MW

So if i get it on 1st try its worth it i think. Like 1050 i think without mw/meditate. Will get htp when i get it for my bowmaster (atm level 63 only). I calculated i'll have buffed (with MW20) if i get this gear, around 1120 magic at this level.
Leveling up is also one of the best ways to gain more magic. If you're not too concerned with selling leech then I strongly suggest you to level to 150 before worrying about 1hitting Petri.
Selling leech is my main income when I get to petri stage so I'd like to keep semi low (max 150) so people still buy leech from me.
Then prepare your wallet because getting above average equipment is gonna blow a hole in it, especially a good wand7! Also you can buy the lolipop (I forgot the name) that grants you 60 (?) magic attack for... 15, 20 minutes? Or was it 30? My friend used to sell petri with that potion buff until he could 1hit without it.

Base int you’ll have at 150 (assuming pure int) : 768 MW20 bonus : 76 Meditation : 20 Wand : 180 Zhelm : 32 Earring : 32 Overall : 30 Shield : 30 HTP : 22 Glove : 25 Krex ring : 3 Cape : 18 Face : 4 Eye : 9 Shoe : 7 Lovebird Ring : 4 Everything I highlighted in bold are the upgrades you’ll need, while the rest can stay. Feel free to juggle the magic between any of the equip upgrades. Have fun! EDIT: I forgot about belt, add that in and you can relax on some of the upgrades.

just a tip but since u wld prolly get htp, u can use slightly higher lvl oas as well since htp+zhelm gives a fair bit of luk. this goes for ur glove as well. this will help decrease ur spendings on buying them since higher lvl eqps are relatively cheaper. for face, if u can, get a shiny rudolph nose instead when its xmas event but other wise just go for a leaf or if u managed to, sweet first love (valentine event). dun spend too much time trying to get a face eqp if u feel tat u hv shit gach luck since maple leaf is gach only
Yeah a higher lvl overall and glove is a must in my budget to asap be able to hit the goal, and yeah my gach luck sucks in nlc/shrine atleast, 450ish tickets dry without cs/ws
Spoke about this plan in my guild and their opinion was that mw20 is not worth it for a mage since its only 7 levels more and i would save 2.4b by that. The question here is now, is it a big difference when selling leech if A. Im 157 instead of 150 ? B. I Only have mw10 instead of mw20 ?
Tbh the answer is no to both questions. The exp gained by leechers at Petris are more affected by the sellers skills rather than their level. I’ve gained more exp per hour getting leeched by a lv 16x arch mage than a 14x max haste tc mw20 who charged more. Level 160 mage selling petris is by no means “too high level”. The slight difference may be that it looks appealing to be low level mw20 etc, and hp washers need mw20, but the truth is there will never be a shortage of Petri clients needing your service, mw20 or not. If you want what’s economical, I’d say skip mw20. If you want to “look cool”, get mw20.
