Hey there, I just recently had an altercation with someone I was good friends with in game. (Started over APQ, then this person somehow managed to tie in my personal life and use it to intentionally provoke me. How does one go from an APQ debate, to targeting my own personal issues I told them in secrecy? It was definitely intentional.) I used the forum ignore option when I went to bed, but when I woke up I noticed the person messaged me again sending two paragraphs, even after I told them to stop. Of course when I threatened to report for harassment, they finally got the hint, but I’d very much appreciate if we have an option to block PMs as well, from the forum. C:
If you do not wish to receive PM's from random users, there is an option where you can choose to only receive PM's from users who you 'follow' on the forum. This can be found under the 'Privacy' section of your account on the forum: https://royals.ms/forum/account/privacy - simply change 'Start conversations with you' from 'members only' to 'people you follow only'. Alternatively, you can also disable PM's entirely in the same section by unticking the box. Does this help?
Ooooh thank you. I only knew about the "ignore" option haha. Would it be possible to add in an option to block individual people? If I disable all of the pms, I usually get people pming me about chairs, items in Selling, etc. Same with I choose the "only people you follow" option. If I chose one of those two ticks, it's still hindering the sales, lol
You have to use the ignore feature to block specific people. As far as I know; if a user is ignored, and they start a new conversation with a user, the user that is ignoring them never sees the conversation. But if they have an existing conversation, the newly ignored user's posts in that conversation keep coming through. So I presume you still had an existing conversation open with the ignored user - which is why you still received replies. Therefore I believe you will need to choose to 'leave conversation' for it to work going forward.
