Ban appeals are getting boring can we please revert back the times were we could see reports and like/comment on the post?
Personally, I find that more people are willing to make reports because their identity is protected. This is good for the server.
True but then again it sucks when people are banned out the blue without knowing why until they make a ban appeal. If I were to report someone I rather it be public than behind closed doors.
To be honest, I'd like to have the reporter's identity protected for similar reasons why we privatized white list. I think I'll only ever be in favor of opening up Report Abuse again, if somehow XenForo can support posting as "anonymous" in the section. But then again, that could limit the kind of evidences that is provided (I don't wanna go too far into the details, but use your imagination!)
Honestly all I can think of why it would be good is "cuz it's funny". This being a topic on the serious side, I don't think it's a good reason.
Defeats the purpose of the petiton back then of being anonymous when reporting and also removing the like system
Wouldn't be opposed to likes being brought back but that's just me. Personally find with reports staying hidden though.
