#1: Open the windows control panel. Go to: Updates

Update Windows XP (Just download the 3-4 necessary updates & install them)

#2: Click on the top left of the VMware, go to "Manage" click on "Update VMware Tools"
    Download & Install them

    #3: Right click the Royals.exe
    Open properties
    Go to compatibility
Set: Program run in Mode for "Windows 2000"

Worked like a charm for me

Good luck and let us know if it worked!

Just wanted to update that this suggestion has worked for a player - https://royals.ms/forum/threads/vmware-error.141373/#post-835022

Appreciate if other VMware users that encountered error of -2147467259 able to confirm this as well

Not playing on VMWare, just W10 standard machine and getting this error every few minutes to the point I can't play.

Just saw in the other thread that someone said this can caused by HZ. I play on 240hz so that'd make sense.
Is 60hz the highest that MapleRoyals can handle?

Still getting this message almost constantly. I can trigger it instantly if I go to the FM channel 1.
Playing on compatibility for XP service pack 3, admin, and with my refresh hate to 60.

Anyone know what else I could do?

Is the error code 7259 or 7038?

My apologies, I just saw the long number and thought it was the same. Mine's prob just an update thing lmao. I only just came back yesterday and downloaded the game only then so I hadn't expected there to be an update within a day later. Sorry.
