Hey guys! Anyone else out there an avid reader like me?! I'm always either reading, or listening to an audiobook! I can't stop! There's nothing better than submerging yourself into a differently reality for a little while. That being said, is anyone else on Goodreads?! Feel free to add me on it I need some good series to read as I have nothing to read atm! It says I'm reading Lullaby by Amanda Hocking, but it makes my second monitor the exact same height as my first (they're different makes) so I can't move it, LOL! www.goodreads.com/chelseasababe
Never seen this website before but it seems so heavenly EDIT: Made an account. Can't remember any books I've read suddenly >.< This is super overwhelming hahaha
Ohhhhhhhh. 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' was my favourite series when I was young *-* And MaryJanice Davidson <3<3<3 I'm reading 'The Art of Thinking Clearly' by Rolf Dobelli now
I'm reading Noughts and Crosses atm and it seems really good if a little intense. For something more lighthearted - One Day - David Nicholls or Cloud Atlas - someone cool.
I really liked the book "House rules" from Jodi Picoult, and there's another one that's been a struggle for me to read because of personal reasons but has been really good and interesting. That one is called "Perfect Match".
1984... A classic. I loved reading it and, to be honest, it's still quite a current challenge of today's society, the dystopia that is described in it, even though the book itself was written over 50 years ago and was set 30 years ago. Really an eye-opener.
I read 1984 during my time in high school, but I never really like the book itself. I understood the meaning and depth of the books message, but it never stuck with me.
Agreed. Ugh I used to read Jodi Picoult's book like crazy. I devoured everything she wrote. But now her unrealistic plot lines and the sob story just turns me of.. :\
I've not read anything past those two and "My sister's keeper", so I wouldn't know. Sad to see it's turned out like that though. My all time favorite will still always be the Harry potter series. I could read them over and over forever and I've already read them several times each. I've also got the Hunger games triology on my ipod, though I haven't read it yet- and I'd like to read Divergent and stuff and see what the hype is about. Sadly my attention span has been really difficult to keep on top of lately and I get sidetracked within minutes, no matter how much I love what I'm doing. :/
