I spend 3 hours every time i want to zak if i need too. Thats the game. thats how it works. dont ruin it, don't make it easy and not fun.
some people love JQ some people are better than others some people suck but EVERYONE do it.
Thats just how the game works, just because you suck at it, doesn't mean it has to be made easy for u, thats not how the world works.

Since Castellan Toad, is one of the few major bosses that do not require any pre-quest, it be nice if players that want to avoid the jump quest have do repeatable chain quest like getting Dragon Elixir for Horntail. So there is a push for players to do the jump quest instead of doing the chain quest.

I think the pre-quest could be like collecting unstackable untradable like boss certificates ,killing Griffery or Kacchuu Musha and collecting 1 Black Essence from Captain Latanica etc.

It's part of the game, always was, so u feel nostalgic by doing it again. When i first came to this server and ran my first jump quest here i felt nostalgic.

1 advice: be quiet. it is better for you.

 

I like messing with the knockback and i-frames in the jump quests to advance. Since most obstacles only knock you one way every time, you can use that information to predict what will happen with each jump. (Except toad jq. That one is just awful). The rest of the jq's are totally fine in my opinion.

The nostalgia definition is not different on each different language. I can speak english, spanish, french and a little bit of italian, german and a thing or two of latin, and I might not be a better spanish fluent speaker as you are, because it is not my first language, but I'm sure i understand everything you say in that language and i'm better off without google translate.

Involves suffering memories and it is not happy because you miss it. That feeling of infelicity happens because you miss it and you cant have it back.
As i mentioned before, the word associates with 'pain'.

I feel sad when i think about my high school. such great times, it was such an happy phase of my life, and knowing those godly times it won't ever happen again makes me wanna cry.

Edit: So yeah I used to feel sad when i think about the old maplestory times. I had so many friends and I had so much fun with old stuff, like working my ass off to finish zakum jump quest so i can get my zhelm... part of my childhood. that made me feel sad, nostalgic. because I knew i wont ever be able to play pre big bang again, until I met this server.
This server helps with that, please dont ruin it.

I'm sorry if i sound mad, but if you don't like jump quests or any other hard stuff just play a private server that allows you to skip those parts, im sure you'll find one. This one is about nostalgia and from what i've seen staff is very restricted when it comes to this stuff.
Having to recharge furys only in nlc... I mean sure you can simplify and make it available every shop buuut that wouldn't be the same because that would not be nostalgic. Little things like this u can't change or the whole concept of being a nostalgic server would vanish down the toilet.
And yeah, I do feel like the act of leeching ruins the concept, but what can we do? I don't leech, even if I were very very very funded, because I do not agree with it. But after all, it is a private server, and the rates have to be a little bit higher than it was.

3 things id like to say(to everyone no just shane):
1.- i never said that jq are objectively bad and frustrating, I said that I do not like them as an obligation and I wanted to know the opinion of the majority (now I see that maybe I'm missing out on a fun experience)
2.-never said that I wanted to completely erase the jump quest, if not that most do not like them (which apparently is not so) put alternative quest, then who likes jump quest can continue to do, and who not, does the other (something similar to ht with the certificates) I still do not understand that some people complain (Pedro) would not affect them at all, you can continue with your jq and I would do the other, nor do you force me to Do what I do not want, nor do I force you to do what you do not want.
3.-In the end what I really wanted to know is if people shared my opinion (that's why I did not put it in feedback) and if they did not know why they like it so much, in other words I wanted to LEARN

Sairs press like 6 buttons every few seconds in horntail or zak or toad. Cannon -> Dismount -> rapid fire -> remount + octopus -> Cannon. So you cannot assume it's anything similar to "Spam-1-button-yolo-bring-me-popcorn" classes.

I think the poll reflects the attitude of the community quite well. There are a minority of people who dislike JQs because of its challenging aspect but many of us here do enjoy the difficulty and thrill JQs provide. If the majority of player base hated it to the guts, staff might have taken a different approach but as you can see from the votes, things didn't turn out that way.

You can wait longer to hear more people's opinion on this topic but I don't think the tide will shift much.
