Good day Royals Staff, I am posting this issue on behalf of my gf, because she doesnt have a forum account - so thats why the posted IGN is hers (its the only one on her account). IGN: OnClouds Problem: Character disconnects instantly from the game upon using any skill and even the normal attack (the standard "knocking" attack, which is on CTRL at the beginning of the game) Details: So, a few months ago it started. Whenever OnClouds presses any attack or skill button, she instantly disconnects from the game with the message "Error Code: 5 (Access is denied)". It first happened the day she first accessed Mu Lung Dojo and since then dced all the time whenever she tried to play. We tried today to install the game on another laptop but it was the same case, so it is neither dependent on the machine, nor on the system (2 diff laptops, win7 and win8). On the win8 machine, it doesnt help to run explicitly as administrator and it is already in compatibility mode. I was able to see her ingame before she disconnected (btw today) and she is able to use portals, talk to npcs and also write ingame in chat (chat "all" and "buddy") and I was able to see and follow all of this. I can see her disconnect directly when she presses any attack key and she is able to login again directly without any problems ... We were actually able to fame eachother right now ingame so its a really strange issue oO Please, can you help us out? It is really sad that she cannot play anymore ( all the best!
sry to bump this, but can you guys maybe take a look at this? Would be pretty cool if OnClouds could use gold richies xp We will try this .dll thingy today and see if that was maybe causing a problem ... Edit: If you want her to make her own forum account before you handle this, please tell me
A better question to find the problem - does she own any RP items? Any new NX items? Tell her to list all the things she can remember, that might be the problem.
thanks guys for your replies!! @Tect especially thank you dude, your input was leading me towards understanding this problem!! it is most probably AXE MASTERY! Everytime Onclouds uses an axe, she directly disconnects, its 100% the axes and it does not matter whcih one. And you know which skill was changed some updates ago? Axe Mastery I think this is the problem, thank you Tect! So at least she can play now normally but: Now, @GMs please can you fix axe mastery? Is it even axe mastery?
It should have been fixed in the last patch. Are you sure you have downloaded and installed the new setup?
Hi Matt, thank you for replying to this! We actually installed the new version on 14.04.19, at least we thought it was the newest version. It might have been our mistake, nevertheless after reinstalling everything properly on one of the laptops now once again, indeed, the problem seems to be solved and OnClouds is able to attack with axes again! I am pretty sure it will be the same on the other laptop! Thanks a lot for taking your time! Fixed
